Thread: I'm Itchy!!

    Default I'm Itchy!!

Please help me, I think this is just detox but i have been reading up on candida symptoms and this could be that. I have this gigantic rash all over my body...they kind of look like little white pimples ~ extremely gross ~ I know. It itches like crazy and not too mention it is really unattractive. Is this just detox or candida? I have always craved and ate mass amounts of sugar in my 22 years of existance. Please tell me that there's hope. Should I eliminate all fruit for two weeks??? Thanks in advance for ANY advice.

I got the same thing and the first time it was because I was allergic to my laundry detergent and the second time it was because I was allergic to my shampoo. I have very sensetive skin.

It could be candida. It could be detox. Could be an allergic reaction. There are a lot of things. I would be careful about diagnosing yourself and then following diets to cure it... do your research, maybe see a doctor. I know that candida has symptoms that are quite similar to many other conditions as well. Happy healing :)

    Default likely detox

if nothing else is different in your life than that you have gone raw there is a good chance it is detox. are you eating anything you didn't eat before? have you been allergic before? seeing someone who knows can help. i went raw 3 weeks ago and within 4 days i got a rash that itched so bad it made me miserable. i think its clearing up but i think its detox. since i've eaten cooked foods and other bad stuff all my life (a decade more than yours) i think its gonna take a little while to completely detox. your rash does sound different than mine, its just itchy and red (especially when i scratch). i don't know anything about candida being a guy. hopefully some of the sisters on line can give you more of a clue about that. i've just been using skin creams like calendula and black walnut and they do help somewhat. i've been accupunctured also which is good but can't say it had any effect on my rash. if its candida i believe going raw will clean it out, but check with a rawie who knows about candida, like alissa. if its an allergy you need to stop eating or exposing yourself to what is making you allergic. if its detox, you just need to go through it and understand you are lucky to be getting it out of your system and this is just the price you pay. whatever the cause, my opinion is in the long run staying raw will serve you best. but obviously that's something you need to figure out for yourself good luck,

A couple of weeks ago I ate some bee pollen for the very first time. Just a small amount, only a teaspoon sprinkled over my morning fruit. I didn't give it a second thought, and totally forgot about eating it, but later on that day I broke out in a horrible, itchy rash ALL OVER my body! It was just awful. I felt like I wanted to scratch my skin off! To make things worse, not linking the bee pollen to my rash, I went ahead and ate some more the next morning! Argh! So, once again, I had the same symptoms, and finally put 2 and 2 together, and realized that I was having an allergic reaction to the bee pollen. I high-tailed it up to the drug store and got some Benadryl, and this took care of the itchiness.

I have never been allergic to any foods before, so this was quite a surprise to me. Anyway, try to think if you have eaten anything lately that you've never eaten before. It could very well be an allergic reaction. And don't take allergic reactions too lightly; sometimes they can have very serious, life-threatening consequences.
