    Default juicing & smoothies part 2

    Almond Milk
    1 Part Almonds
    4 Parts water & Blend
    To activate almonds, soak overnight, pour off water & follow recipe above.
    For a delicious smoothie add: frozen fruit & pure maple syrup

    APPLE SHAKE
    1/2 orange peeled, leave on white pithy part
    2 green apples, seeded
    1 ripe banana
    1 tablespoon brewers yeast
    orange slice for garnish
    Juice the orange and apple. Place juice, banana, and yeast in a blender or food processor, and blend until smooth. Garnish with orange slice.

    Grape-Celery Cooler
    Ingredients:
    1 bunch of grapes
    2 celery stalks
    Instructions:
    Make juice in your juicer and, if desired, top with fresh mint leaves.

    Healing Smoothie
    This is a great drink for anyone, especially those with ulcers. This drink has soothing qualities which protect and heal the stomach lining.
    1 firm kiwi fruit, peeled
    1/4 cantaloupe, with skin
    1 ripe banana
    1. Push kiwi fruit and cantaloupe through the hopper.
    2. Place juice and banana in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
    3. Pour into a tall glass, drink immediately and enjoy!!

    Monkey Shake
    This juicing recipe will act as an aid for indigestion.
    ½ orange, peeled (leave white pithy part on)
    ½ papaya peeled
    1 banana
    Orange twist for garnish
    Juice orange with papaya.
    Place juice and banana in to a blender or food processor, and blend until smooth.
    Garnish with the orange twist. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy!!

    Popeye's Garden Tonic
    Handful of spinach
    3 stalks of celery
    2 stalks of asparagus
    1 large tomato
    1 cherry tomato for garnish
    Bunch up spinach and juice with celery.
    Juice asparagus with tomato.
    Mix juices in a tall glass and garnish with a cherry tomato.

    POWER BOOST
    Drink this at least 15 minutes before eating.
    1 tart organic apple, unpeeled, quartered and chopped
    3-5 scrubbed, unpeeled organic carrots, chopped
    2 clean stalks of organic kale, stems removed
    Juice according to manufacturer's directions for your juicer. Drink juice immediately. Yes, it is the color of your lawn, but it's pleasant tasting, loaded with nutrients, and packed with power. You'll see.

    SPARKLING MEMORY
    This drink is surprisingly delicious, has a slightly 'nutty' flavor and is good for improving the memory. It is especially rich in
    choline, one of the B vitamins that increases acetylcholine, a substance that is the message carrier of the brain.
    4-5 medium size carrots
    3 stalks of celery, with leaves if you like
    1/4 head of a small cabbage, cut into sections that fit your juicer
    1/4 lemon (peel if not organic) (optional)
    Cut the green tops of the carrots and scrub well (you don't need to peel)
    2. Wash the celery and cabbage
    3. Juice the carrots, celery and cabbage; add lemon as desired
    4. Stir the combined juice, pour into a glass and serve chilled or at room temperature as desired.

    SUPER EIGHT STRESS RELIEVER
    1 kale leaf
    1 collard leaf
    small handful of parsley
    1 stalk of celery
    1 carrot, greens removed
    1/2 red pepper
    1 tomato
    1 broccoli floret
    celery stalk for garnish
    Juice leaves and parsley, then the celery and carrot. Follow with red pepper,
    tomato, and broccoli.

    Carrot/Apple Juice
    · 6 carrots
    · 2 apples
    Liver Mover
    · 2-3 carrots
    · ½ beet
    Bromeiain Special
    · pineapple (skin & all)
    unscrew top and throw away
    Orange or Grapefruit
    · 3 oranges (peeled)
    or 1 grapefruit (peeled)
    Evening Regulator
    · 2 apples
    · 1 pear
    Digestive Special
    · handful of spinach
    · 6 carrots
    Holiday Cocktail
    · 2 apples
    · 1 large bunch of grapes
    · 1 slice lemon with peel
    Body Cleanser
    · 4 carrots
    · ½ cucumber
    · 1 beet

    Rejuvenator
    · handful of parsley
    · 3 carrots
    · 2 celery stalks
    · 2 cloves of garlic
    Cantaloupe Juice
    · cut into strips and juice
    (rind and all)
    The Waldorf
    · 1 stalk celery
    · 2 apples
    Sunshine Cocktail
    · 2 apples
    · 4-6 strawberries
    Energy Shake
    · handful of parsley
    · 6 carrots
    Watermelon Juice
    · cut into strips and juice
    (rind and all)
    Potassium Broth
    · 1 handful of spinach
    · 1 handful of parsley
    · 2 stalks of celery
    · 4-6 carrots
    AAA Juice
    · 6 carrots
    · 1 apple
    · 2 stalks of celery
    · ½ handful of wheatgrass
    · ½ handful of parsley
    · ½ beet
    Passion Cocktail
    · 4 strawberries
    · 1 large chuck pineapple
    · 1 bunch black grapes
    Morning Tonic
    · 1 apple
    · 1 grapefruit (peeled)
    Digestive Cocktail
    · ¼ lemon with peel
    · ½ grapefruit (peeled)
    · 2 oranges
    Alkaline Special
    · ¼ head cabbage (red or green)
    · 3 stalks of celery
    Carrot Blush
    4 carrots
    beet with greens
    5 - 6 leaves of Romaine or other leaf lettuce
    3 - 4 leaves of spinach
    Scrub organic carrots or peel the carrots if they are not organic. Clean and cut beet into slender wedges, and wash & dry lettuce and spinach leaves. Juice half of the carrots, and the beet, then you may use the remaining carrots to help push the lettuce and spinach through the juicer.

    Rejuvelac

    2 cups soft wheat berries

    1.Soak in purified water 8 hrs or overnight.
    2.Drain, rinse, then allow to sprout for 2 days, without rinsing.
    3. When white sprout tails begin to show, add 6 cups purified
    water, cover jar with cheesecloth, put in a warm place
    where it can be exposed to at least 70 degree temp for
    2 days.
    4. THEN pour off, drink or refriderate or use "rejuvelac" in a recipe.
    5. The leftover seeds can be used one more time, with 4c. purified water, will culture in 1 day. Then seeds can be composted, or thrown to birds.

    Caveats-
    do not drink soak water. Seeds Must sprout.

    Alma's Strong Carrot Juice Mix

    What we call it a mix carrot. It is a good drink to get
    us going in the morning. You will need to build up to
    this combo, and drink it while its is fresh is
    recommended. (All organic if possible)
    1 beet with greens
    stalk celery
    large handful of spinach
    large handful of parsley
    1 green pepper (or whatever pepper is organic)
    1-3 cloves garlic (to taste or what you can stand)
    1 slice of ginger
    enough carrots to make a quart of juice
    (usually half of a 5 lb bag)

    Vitality Juicing Recipes
    Morning Sunshine Juice
    Juice together:
    4 granny smith apples or gravenstein apples
    2 inch fresh ginger, peeled
    1 meyer lemon, peeled
    4 oz water to dilute

    Dreamcicle
    Juice together:
    2 nectarines or peaches
    1/2 cantaloupe
    2 apples
    1 inch ginger claw
    2 Tbs. ground flax seeds
    Add 8-10oz frozen ice cubes and blend
    Ginger Grape Juice
    Juice together:
    2 cups red grapes
    2 inch fresh ginger, peeled
    1 meyer lemon, peeled
    4 oz water to dilute

    Lunchtime Juice
    4 carrots
    2 cucumber
    2 stalks celery
    1 beet
    For a sweeter juice: 2-4 oranges, skins off.
    For savory juice: onions, basil, ginger or garlic.

    Energizing Smoothie
    This is my favorite energizing smoothie. It is delicious!
    1/2 Cup Filtered Water
    1/4 of a Whole Pineapple, peeled and cut into pieces
    10 Strawberries
    1 Mango, peeled and cut into pieces
    1 Banana
    3 Ice Cubes
    Process in a blender until creamy.

    Vinay's "Toxic Waste"
    ingredients:
    -3 small apples (any variety)
    -3 large carrots
    -1/2 a lemon
    -2 heaping tablespoons soy protein powder
    -2 tablespoons liquid chlorophyll
    -put the apples and carrots through a juicer
    -add the lemon juice (hand squeeze)
    -pour all the ingredients into a shaking bottle and
    shake vigorously for 30 seconds
    -pour and enjoy

    SLUDGE - "milkshake"
    1C almonds (soaked 24hrs)
    3 bananas small or 2 big ones
    8 dates pitted (I use Black Sphinx)
    1.25C purified water
    Put ingredients in blender and blend on your most radical setting for about 20 seconds. This is the best raw "milkshake" I've ever had. The bomb!

    Tatiana's banana coco smoothie
    You'll need:
    2 large or three small bananas (no yellow ones! nice and ripe & spotted)
    -one "young" or green coconut
    -a blender & glass!
    What to do:
    1) crack open the coconut (find a good method that works for you- I haven't found mine yet! I just cut like hell till I finally get a hole in the top..)
    2) our all the liquid right from the coco into the blender
    3) add the bananas
    4) liquefy

    Wheat Milk Shake
    Sprout soft white wheat.
    Blend with water.
    Strain to remove pulp.
    Blend liquid with bananas and honey.
    Serve.

    Carob Shake
    Blend together in blender:
    filtered water (to top of blades)
    1/4-1/2 cup nuts, ground (any kind)
    3 heaping Tbsp. carob powder, (raw organic)
    4-5 bananas, frozen (break into chunks and add until thick)
    vanilla to taste
    honey to taste

    Strawberry Smoothie
    30-60 strawberries
    9-13 medium or large bananas
    7-8 cups fresh squeezed orange juice
    1 cup flaxseed meal
    Blend until Creamy.

    Vegnog
    almonds
    dates
    nutmeg
    water
    Mix to your taste.

    Taso's Manhattan Special (juice recipe)
    4 stalks of celery
    1 beet medium size
    1 ginger 2 inches long
    1 apple red
    6 carrots cello type
    will produce 12-16 oz of a great tasting drink

    Gingalope smoothie
    1. The gingalope smoothie. its simple. just take a cantaloupe peel and de-seed.
    2. Cut into pieces, about 1"-2". cut a small piece of fresh ginger root, about 1" by 1" add these into a blender or food processor and blend
    Minty Fresh Smoothie

    this one is sweet and delicious.
    the mint and basil add a nice twist.
    2 medium bananas
    1 medium cucumber
    2 tbs fresh basil
    1 tbs fresh mint
    2 small peaches or 1 apple
    put all ingredients in blender, and create a creamy and delicious smoothie!
