It's only been a couple of weeks.

Give yourself a break. Your body is probably working on healing somewhere else in your body.

Are you exercising or lifting weights?

    Amberly,

My RVD said that you need to detoxify before your body will let you lose anymore weight because when you lose weight, it makes the toxins recirulate through your system. You can get stuck because your body won't let you lose anymore if there isn't anymore room for toxins to circulate. You need to continually detoxify by excercising, infrared sauna and lots of water or any other way you can think of. He said that if sometimes a reason people plateau.

It is a sauna that uses unfrared heat. The infrared goes deeper into the body than just regular heat. It stimulates and eliminates toxins through your sweat. The infrared heat can go in to your skin as deep as 1 1/2 inches. You can also lose from 600-900 calories per 30 minutes in the infrared sauna. Also, the heat does not need to be as high as a regular sauna so you can stay in longer without feeling overheated. The temp in a infrared sauna is typically 120 degrees. I do not know what temp is typical in a regular sauna.

regular sauna 180 degrees, infra red 140 degrees

that is what all the paperwork said when we bought our infra red sauna.

infra red is also no steam, and uses alot less electricity, also you can't burn yourself on the heater, as there are several heaters behind wooden slats, instead of one big heater you can bump up against.

    we love ours.

Yes you are quite early --don't worry it WILL come off :) but in the meantime......

What do you eat in a typical day?

    Exercise?

    Water intake?

    Current health conditions?

I agree with what the others wrote above. It may take a while before you see the weight loss. If you haven't read Nora's story, you might want to take a look at it. She ate 100% raw for 5 months and never lost a pound, then it started melting off:

(you can also find my testimony on the left of this page "Helen")

If you want to lose a few pounds by May 5th, you may want to consider a juice fast.

How often should you use the sauna? I'm at the gym 4x a week I'd like to use the sauna there.

I agree with missL..What is your intake like?? Are you food combining, drinking enough water, sleeping well, under a lot of stress, exercising enough--they all partake in weight loss. Also are you eating this way JUST to lose weight. The times i have been focused on LOSING LBS. I rarely did--i just got more obsessed with the weight not budging, got on the scale too much, ... When I let go and focused on health and feeling good and got into living a bit more--the weight came off without me trying so hard....

    Just my opinion...
Try to have fun in Florida REGARLESS of your weight and look at the trip as a gift to be enjoyed.

    Wishing you the best,
