Wink possible deadening effect of high powered/industrial strenght blenders

hi all in cyberland,iv read a book by the world famous dr max gerson founder of the gerson institute which is largely concerned with treatment of cancer via natural theraphies..anyway he suggested that high powered liquidizers /blenders emitted a positive electrical charge through the intense speed and rate of the blade revolutions and that this neutralises the negative electro charge which all live food has..(it seems this is a kind of measure of "aliveness"in raw food) this is my understanding of it im wondering if anyone has done any reseach on this or has read anything else about this,it has stopped me investing in a vitamix and high powered processor. so far but im wondering whether it a is a question of trade-off you know ..on the one part this type of machinery helps one stay raw and right now this is the particular mountain i find myself climbing and finding it tough enough transitioning to raw because raw is completely opening up my relationship with food which goes way beyond nourishment anyway love to hear your thaughts

    cheerio for now,
    bernie

    Default Interesting

As a person who is very affected by magnetic and electrical currents, I can certainly see how this could be true. I think the BEST way to eat your raw food is just naturally, unprocessed. But even processed, it has to be better than cooked?

I don't use the Vitamix because 1) I can't tell the difference in the blending between it and an inexpensive blender and 2) the noise is horrible - the noise alone makes the cells in my body quake. I feel it in my gut and don't like the feeling. If it's doing that to MY cells, what's it doing to the living plant cells?

Hmmm...maybe, maybe not. But I kinda think that perhaps it's so that people using their treatment won't settle for making fresh juice using any 'ole blender/juicer but rather invest in THEIR (quite expensive) presser-thingy.

**shrugs** Oh well, I certainly FEEL more alive now using my processor, blender and (sometimes) juicer than I did when I ate dead, cooked food!
    Detox getting rough?
    Let's "smooth it out"!

    Hummm Bernie,

    Well, food for thought.

I always "feel" my food to see if it still feels alive before I eat it or drink it, and when I make my almond milkshakes in the Vita Mix, they "feel" alive to me, they don't feel harmed.

However, I do know that fruits and veggies do not like metal blades, they don't mind the ceramic, but they do hate the metal blades, so I try not to use my food processor or VitaMix unless I really need to for nut milks shakes etc.

I do eat alot of my food fresh from the tree or bush or ground, and I always use ceramic knives to cut them with.

Actually I believe they prefer to be eaten with the teeth instead of ceramic, but I still use a knife to make them pretty and easily eaten.

So, I wouldn't be surprised if this was a valid point about the magnetic field thingy.

I say, do what works for you, and if the food doesn't feel alive, then don't eat it.

I think we are so far away from eating REAL food now adays that we wouldn't know one if it bit us. LOL

We do grow our own food organically, and I've lived here 16 years, so I know that no weed killer or pesticides have been here that long, but we do live in the USA and it is near other humans, and they may use chemicals, and althought we live in the mountains, in a highly UNPOPULATED area, I still think it could be way way more pure.

So, if it works for you to not use a blender, then Great.

I will keep drinking my almond milk shakes as long as I love them, and maybe I will go to only fresh fruit from the tree soonly. and Maybe not. LOL

But it does make you think!

There is a 7 acre resort on the other side of the lake that is for sale, and at a good price too.
