Default Mmmmm, more mainstream media mentions!

Well, very, very small mainstream media mentions! While at the store getting some delicious produce I went ahead and picked up an Elle magazine, only to find that the whole issue is about organic and eco-friendly clothes and beauty products! It's even called 'The Green Issue', and i'm really happy about it. They have articles and invterviews with fashionable people trying to improve the environment, they have a ton of tips on recycling and living more sustainably, they're advocating buying organic...! AND RAW IS MENTIONED TWICE! Very small spots, but I still like to think that some curious Elle readers have looked it up and are changing their lives for the better. In the entertaining/travel/food/design section, the front part has a photo of some lovely organic/recycled/etc. furniture(and cabbages!) with the text: "Living green... But Not Granola. What to do if you abhor the cheap spa look, aren't a vegan or a raw foodie, and don't want to vacation on the teva trail? In the following pages, some inspiring options for those of you who care, care, care but don't live and die by the soy candle." On the following page is more furniture and decorations with the text "Reduce, Reuse, Redecorate: RAWCHIC, crazy but lovable, or just plain useful answers to the question: How to create without destroying?" I said they were small. But the point is that it's out there! Being healthy and well and not harming ther earth is becoming trendy, and I really hope it continues to do so! I cannot wait until raw is as widely accepted as vegetarianism, and want to contribute to this all that I can. So, uh, in closing, go Elle! The only way you could've done better is printing on recycled paper and not advertising cosmetics and fragrances that aren't tested on animals!

WOOT!! Anytime raw lifestyles are mentioned, no matter how small the spot, I like to think a seed is being planted for everyone who sees it!

I think that is great, any way to get the word out, any small or large mention, I think is a step in the right direction. YES!!!
