Default New adult tooth is discolored? What?

Does anyone have any idea what this is about? My almost 7 son has a new tooth coming in and it is 2 shades of ivory. Dh thinks it is a mineral deficiency and should take more vitamins b/c the soil is depleted. Jace, the 7yo, is mostly raw...not lately though b/c we lacked while traveling for 3 weeks.
Any input or help would be great. Thanks so much.

Has there ever been any trauma to the area? Teeth can change shades if they are damaged. If not I would tend to go with mineral deficiencies and supplement with minerals-not vitamins.

Thank you for your response, no, I can't think of any trauma. He is a VERY active boy and tough, so.... no, he would have told me. Minerals, how do I do that? Could I test him first? How do I go about that?

Ummm... why don't you try taking him by a dentist's office to get it checked out?

you can do simple muscle testing to find out what minerals he needs, or go to the HFS and ask what minerals are good for teeth.

I don't personally agre that a dentist would help. For teeth what comes to mind as being essential in terms of vitamins/minerals are Vitamins A and D, magnesium, potassium and calcium. Of course they all work in concert, so you are better off finding a great supplement than trying to get all of them rounded up. If you know how to do muscle testing though, and could narrow down his specific problem you could go from there. For supplements-there are good ones out there, I like Sea Minerals with Silver alot. You can get it at www.vitacost.com, Vitamineral Green is also very good.
