    Default MC question

    Hey guys,
I've been considering trying the MC in order to detox my body, but I'm seriously concerned about losing weight while I'm doing it. I mean, I'm 5' 2" and only weigh 80 lb (I know), so I obviously can't lose any more weight. It's quite the opposite, actually... Any advice would be welcome.
    Thanks!

    I found a site on line : http://therawfoodsite.com/mastercleanse.htm
It suggests that if you are underweight...you should increase the amount of maple syrup. Hope this helps!

    Default Are you sure?

Why do you feel that you need to detox your body? How do you feel if you were to go on it? Do you think that you would be able to handle the lower amount of calories, since your body already requires so little to work with or do you think that you would get to tired? I think that you should go with how you feel. If you're not sure you can try it for a day or two and if you have any bad responses like light headness or anything or you just don't feel right you can stop. That's just my opinion hope that helps.

Fasting, while wonderful for detoxing will make you lose weight. It sounds like you can't spare any weight to lose. You may need to gain more calories in a healthful, living foods way and maybe fast when you reach your goal weight. You can still detox using raw foods and fuel your body at the same time.

    Default Mc

Have you decided yet what to do? In my opinion Miss linda is an expert in the area of fasting , so if you haven't decided yet because you're unsure if I were you I would try to get in contact with her somehow. What are you eating in the meantime?

Thanks so much for all your insight, guys! :)
Jenjenn, you asked me what was the reason for my wanting to detox. Well, I'm 16 years old and yet I've been recently diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (a family thing). I thought trying the MC could help. I followed your advice of fasting for a couple of days just to see how I reacted to it. The results were that I felt pretty weak, and as I went for my daily walk I was extremely tired and short of breath. Now, I'm not sure if those could be signs of my body detoxing or of its not adapting well to the fast. Perhaps I should try and put on a little more weight before I go on a fast again... Guess I'll be eating lots of coconuts and avocados till then.
    Thanks again, you rock!
