    Default fasting/weight loss question

    Hi

Ok here is my question. I am on day 21 of a fast. I did 2 days of juice and have been diong the Master cleanse ever since. Initially I was losing approx 1 pound a day and I was very happy with that. On day 15 I stopped losing weight. So for the last 6 days I have not lost anything and have been stuck at the same weight. I am very confused and do not understand what is going on. I am fasting to cleanse out my body, but honestly I really need to lose weight too. I am still a good 30 pounds overweight so I am not just leveling off at a healthy weight for me.
What concerns me is gee whiz if I can't even lose weight when I am eating nothing, what will happen once I start eating again?
Please don't misunderstand me. I am thrilled and awed by the fact that I have made it this long on a fast. This is a major accomplishment for me. But I am very frustrated now that I have stalled out. I mean one of the motivators of fasting is seeing that weight come off, and I'm stuck!
Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
    Thanks so much!

Perhaps at first your body was shedding the extra water weights and toxins, but now it's working on a deeper level. Eventually it'll start again. Don't worry. Every body is different and will detox and cleanse in different ways.

    Hi

    Thank you for your responses.

I am a little confused about exercise. I have read in the past that while you are fasting you shouldn't be exercising because you are trying to let your body rest, but then I have also read that it is fine to exercise. So you would recommend exercising while fasting? Should I start walking on the treadmill?
    Thanks again!
