Did you try going into UserCP and then to Event Reminders?

I never went through the process of setting any of that calendar stuff up, so I'm not sure as to how to go about removing it.

Also, check into going into Calander. But I would assume the same channels you used to set it up, you should be able to go in a delete it. I don't have the Moderator priviledges set up yet to be able to go in and delete posts, so I can't help you in that way. Alissa's out of town but maybe the board Admin. might see this and be able to help you if you don't get it by then.

    Hi Linda,

Okay, I think I may have figured out the event deletion thing. I did a "test" of adding an event just to see what would be necessary in order to remove it if need be.

I clicked on the event and at the lower right hand side, there was something that said, "Edit event". I clicked on that and was able to edit it AND, at the top there was a little check box. Check the box and then hit, "Delete this event". Now, this is assuming that after a given time frame that delete option is still made available (which I see no reason for it not to be).

So, if you didn't already, try that and see if it works.

    Cherie (!!!!!!!!!!!)

I cannot be bind and dumb----I've spent several different times staring and looking for that EDIT button--I do not see it. Here's what I did....

Above themain menu I click on calendar (grapefruit icon) It takes me to the defualt calendar and intially I chose new event recurring and put in the info. Well two days later another member brought it to my attention about my "detox event' so that is when I realized everyone has access to seeing it. Now, I go into the calendar the same way and do not see a EDit button at all no matter if I click on the event or not.

    HELP ME I'M GOING CRAZY

    Desperatley seeking Edit button,
    linda

ok, I'm sorry...I left something out. Did you see something, a drop-down menu that says, "Event Options"? If so, then click on the drop-down arrow and the menu should drop with the option of editing.

If that doesn't work, let me know.
