    Question blenders and such

I am getting ready to make some major purchases towards my raw journey and need help from more of the experienced raw fooders. I have a blender that I have been using (cheap regular GE kind) that has been doing a wonderful job with my smoothies, or so I think as I have nothing to compare it with. I have been reading and hearing about the K-tec blender and wonder if there really is a difference in the consistency of the smoothie or other things that would warrant me paying in the upward $400 range for a blender. Also, I am getting ready to get a dehydrator and want to know if you would recommend the Excalibur. Also, what wheatgrass juicer would you recommend. I will be making these purchases within the next few days, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I am just so excited and so full of energy!!!

    g'd day goyet,

If you do a search here you'll find SO many questions and answers on just this topic.*points up to 'nana*.

A quick answer ~ I've got both K-Tec AND Vita-Mix and absolutely love the VM. Reason being is, the K-Tec starts at such a high speed whereas the VM starts slowly and builds up nicely.

LOVE my 9-tray Excalibur. You might not wish to get the smaller one being that if you make something like lasange or cake then you have to remove trays.

Wheatgrass juicer ~ our most popular one is the Healthy juicer.

    WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME

    Excalibur 9 tray,
    champion juicer
    cuisinart 11 cup
    Vita Mix

I know that is alot, but I think they are essential in the raw kitchen

    however you can sub with
American harvest snack master with temp control $40 at Walmart
    no juicer
Black and decker food processor $40 at Walmart
Good blender $20 to $40 at Walmart

big savings, for okay appliances, to start you off with.
