We get a lot of emails asking about our move and what we have been up to. so here is the latest news from alissacohen.com

First, We have hired someone! Thank you all so much for your wonderful emails

Wow, im amazed at how many of you want a life change and would be willing to do so much to get it! We have had emails from all across the state and one in Belgium, one in England and one in Spain.

We found the right person for this situation within hours of sending this last email out. BUT, I will be needing more people very soon. IÂ’ve been keeping a lot under wraps here about what the future plans are for alissacohen.com. so here are some sneak peaks at what we are doing here in Maine now that we are getting settled in our new home:

As many of you already know, Dennis and I moved to Kittery, Maine about 2 months ago. We bought an old farmhouse that we've been renovating into my dream kitchen plus we have a large barn for shipping and storage. Some of you wrote and asked why we would leave Laguna Beach so I wanted to tell you why. We loved Laguna Beach, the weather, the friends we made there and the beauty, but something was calling us back to the east coast where we are both from. We missed family and friends and even the cool, crisp, clean weather here. The first week we moved we had snow and we were both playing outside like little kids in it. We took a walk early the second morning we were here and saw 4 deer staring at us through the woods in front of our home. When I lay down at night to go to bed the stars and moon shine so bright through my bedroom window that I feel like im up their with them. The cool air puts me to sleep and has me waking up refreshed. Its now sunny and 60 and always changing. We like change ;) obviously! Lol. We have enough land here to make a beautiful garden. We are only a few minutes to the beach. ItÂ’s so peaceful and quite here because there are no neighbors close to the house. But we are only 10 minutes to Portsmouth NH which is a funky, hopping town with an amazing health food store and great holistic practitioners. We are also about 50 minutes from Boston. So we have the best of both worlds. We live in the woods but minutes to civilization. Since we have moved only 2 months ago things have already exploded here for us. New parts of alissacohen.com are opening up and we are growing the business ten fold in all different directions. I cant believe how the teacher trainings have just taken off and many of the alissacohen teachers are already creating their own huge successes. We will continue to highlight teachers in upcoming newsletters. Teachers are quitting there jobs just weeks after coming to the trainings, making great money and doing what they love!

Below is some more information about whats happening in this neck of the woods!We have acquired a two family home that Carmel, my assistant, will be moving into. The second half of this house is where another one of our wonderful employees will be living while working closely with Carmel. We are so excited to have Carmel close to us to take on more of the daily operations of alissacohen.com so that I can move on to more things like writing another book, producing more dvds, traveling more, like we are doing this year with going to England and other places for the teacher trainings and so much more.

We have just also bought a bed and breakfast that we will be converting into something, not totally sure yet, lol! But we will be doing the up coming teacher certification there for sure. With Elaine (my co- teacher for the certifications) on board with us, this place is sure to be a magical, life-changing place. Any of you who have been to the certifications or have heard about Elaine, know what an amazing facilitator she is. Elaine has been at these trainings with me, helping people to achieve their destiny and realize their goals whether it be in raw food or other aspects of life, within lighting speed through fun, joy and laughter. She has a way of moving you through your stuff without getting stuck in the past, but rather by recognition of what is important, meaningful and creates change-now.

Although I am not clear on what this center retreat place, seminar space, etc. will be as of yet (we just bought it this week!) I know it holds an incredible opportunity for Elaine and I to reach people on so many levels and to help people achieve their lifeÂ’s purpose. The vision for this place is so bright and large itÂ’s hard to see it all at the moment. But, for those of you who know us, things seem to unfold at light speed around here, so we will be keeping you updated on this periodically.

So, all this to say, we will be needing more staff for this place and for some other projects as well via internet and within and around this location. So if you have sent us an email or called with your request to work with us we will be keeping these in a folder and keeping you in mind. It was so difficult to make this decision, as there were so many incredible emails and phone calls from people who would be such an asset to alissacohen.com. Thank you for making yourself available to us and wanting to be a part of this with us. Please continue to send emails (please use emai only to contact us about jobs right now as we are getting overloaded with phone calls) if you are looking for a job with us. Again, we will be hiring more and more people within the next year to join our growing business and we will keep you in our system so we can contact you directly.

Oh! DonÂ’t forgot about the May training. http://www.rawteacher.com/teachers.php We now have 26 people! We have moved this to a larger location though so we can fit a few more. Ill be sending out more information about this next week.

Wow...Alissa..Megga congratulations on your success. I am so happy to hear about all the positive changes in your business & personal life. I know what it's like to see deer while walking & to move to be near family.

I am so excited about your expansion..& I plan on getting to some classes next Fall sometime-either in Michigan or even with you if I can get away. I really want to be part of this fun & exciting team... :) You truly have changed my life & many thousands more like me. :)

Hmmm...a bed-n-breakfast can become so many things! Raw retreats, seminars, classes, raw vacations, etc... the possiblilities are endless and exciting!
I'd love to come up in the fall when the leaves are changing for a raw retreat, hint hint nudge nudge ;) Dallas is not too scenic in that aspect....

WOW!! So much going on.Congratulations and good luck with all the new growth! I know it must be very exciting to know you will be spreading the word of eating living foods. It must be overwhelming in a great way to be able to touch so many people.

Now, When you decide to branch out and make a Texas branch of Alissa Cohen... Please think of me.. As long as it is in the Dallas area.. I would love to do something.
