    Question umm Misslinda?? MC QUESTION

    Master Cleanse Question

    Misslinda,

I know you are not really an advocate for the MC but you seem to know alot from your own experience.

I have been doing green smoothies for about 2wks now, although falling off the wagon toward the evening on most occasions, I feel that I am now ready for the MC...BUT I am very weiry of the salt water flush...as I have done it on many occasions in the past...and then my failed attempt with it before going to green smoothies. My question to you is...can the MC still be beneficial w/o the salt water flush and senna...say using NaturalCalm at night/in the morning instead?? Since NC still has the "drawing toxins down" and less harsh effect...I would think this may be a good way to go.

    What do you think??

    Thanks :)

    Onelife2live (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

LOL, that's waht I 'm using. I'm using CALM for the drawing effect as I know how much I need before it "reacts" then a home enema.
Are you new to calm? curiosity, what flavor do you have?

by all means, if you find the MC unattractive to your body while on it, you can always integrate a juice fast etc.

How long are you going for

    Talking Teehehehe!

    You're so funny Misslinda

It's all a thanks to you and a few others on this board that I even learned about CALM. ;) I'm using the Rasberry/Lemon flavor.

So if I'm understanding correctly, I can still do the lemonade part of the MC but instead of the senna and saltwater I can use CALM and home enemas??

Oh and as far as intergrating the juice fast......will detoxing be more rapid??

    thanks sweetie...you're the greatest!!

I LOVE the raspberry flavor....Shhhhhh sometimes I like to stick my finger in the bottle and eat it like candy!!!!

With juice fasting, you can have the best of both world. Fasting on juices of veggies and fruits, offers you the various nutrients to rebuild while detoxifying, cleansing and repairing/healing.

MC, is alot more concentrated and to me more on the "Cleansing side" as lemon juice itself is a powerful detoxifier to the liver/kidneys,astringet,anti viral, anti bac, etc. I also personally belive that over consumption of lemon juice is hindering but that is my personal take not to be influenced on your thoughts. Yes it offerrs the various nutrients in the lemon juice and sweetner but I believe it has its' limitations in terms of rebuilding qualities.

However, many have had great results!

So, would it accelerate the detox? LOL,,,boy are you a glutton for pain or somethin? ;) * messng with you * MC I would sway is alot more "concentrated" so that style of detox tends to surface quicker. There a other modalities that can help facilitate detox if you choose to fast on juices.

    Some examples,

    Detox bath
    Deep breathing
    Energy work
    Meditate
    Fresh outdoor sunlight and air
    Skin brushing
    Essential oils
    Aroma therpay
    Massages

The key to detox is to rest (crucial), keep healthy blood flow (not strenuous workout) and elimination if neccessary for you (some don't use an eliminator)

If you are making the MC recipe in advance, I would suggest usng a glass pitcher of somesort. Try not to use the plastic jug.

You are even greater my dear friend!

but to be fair, I should say that some peoplel like the salt flush and have great results with it as well so it's a matter of what appeals to you [body] wise. I know alot of people from feedback are shunned by the taste.

Smile Pain is my game!! NOT!

Well the salt water flush in conjunction with bentonite and psyllium worked well for me. But in ref to the MC, of course like many..I can't stand drinking the salt water But "body wise" it does my body good, but I'm certainly interested in a better alternative to the salt.

So I think I'll see what my body says about this approach for a start:

    Night before: cup of Calm
    Morning: warm lemon water
Mid Morning: MC lemonade for remainder of day/maybe a green smoothie if needed
    Evening: green smoothie or juice
Night by 8: cup of CALM

somewhere during the morning hours I may do a more concentrated cup of CALM to get me moving...

this is not totally thought out

yep it seems you have to play with the Calm to find out how you react. My sis has elimination after just a 1/2 tsp!

are you soley doing calm or enema with it?

Remember my "gas" thread....well that was the first time I used an enema with CALM...then I used another enema a day and half later because I was still very gassy after consuming some cooked food Oops! did I say that..**smacking hand** And I've been great eversince.

I have to use 2 1/2 tsp to get a moving reaction. It's funny how it sounds when everything is being drawn downward in the colon...but it's so comforting and non-cramping..unlike senna

separate...CALM as tea, and then I did the "store" bought enema (just twice...I didn't know much about enemas before so I dont do this often at all). I've never done a "home-made" enema like coffee or anything either. Yesterday after our last entry...I had 2 tsps of CALM tea while at work..went for a walk...when I returned BAM!! I felt so much better.

How do you prepare your enemas?? and how often do you use them in conjunction to using CALM??

I do mine every 5-6 days........seems like symptoms get the most challenging between day 5 and 7.

I do a quart of warm spring water,3 lemons squeezed and get a fleet bottle and empty it's contents.

    BOy, you're just moving along.
