    Exclamation FYI - Iron

I have been wondering what raw food has a high source of iron. And I've found one and wanted to share.

Raw Pumpkin Seeds have 23% of the RDA of iron.

Do you have a portion size for that.

    Default And also good for...

Lots of other things, including powerful anti-oxidants and other cancer fighting chemicals. There are lots of health benefits to eating pumkin seeds regularly. And now that you can readily get them prehulled, they're so much easier to eat. :)

And men over 40 find pumpkin seeds to be especially valuable for maintaining good prostate health. Now that saw palmetto has been shown to be ineffective for this purpose, pumpkin seeds have become even more important.

I had no idea pumkin seeds were so high in iron. great find! I usually rely on peas, nuts or leafy veggies combined with vitamin C sources for better absorption and my iron levels have always been fine.
