Rinse and hold

You can easily store them several days, perhaps a week or more. I find they stay fresh longer if you rinse them daily and keep them tightly covered. Keeping the refrigerator COLD helps too.
How you know you've kept them too long is when they tip over from their normal nice fresh smell to a little bit of sourness. And taste a little pinch before committing yourself with a large batch. If anything is off tasting or off smelling, toss it. As in all things related to food safety, when in doubt, throw it out.

Mara - what type of barley are you using, what is the chili recipe, and what do you do with the buckwheat? I am new to 100% raw and trying to find ways to use grains.

Buckwheaties
`If you rinse and dehydrate the buckwheat sprouts, you have "buckwheaties" and they RAWK for breakfast! You can store them forever in a glass jar, and mix them with nuts & dried fruit to make a wonderful muesli!

Sounds great! How long do you let them sprout, how long to dehydrate, and what temperature?

This is a good question...
I also have some soaked sesame seeds and soaked flax seeds that I put in water this morning; however, I won't be able to use them today... can I store them in the fridge and how should I do it?? How long will they last??
I know for the flax I won't drain them b/c they are guey, but do I drain the water from the sesame seeds???
Should I just throw them away??
I would probably use them tomo....
