    Talking Yahoo new section!!

    Yahooooo!

    Thank you Alissa!!

Look Kirk - just like I dreamed of, a virtual garden

I couldn't resist starting off the new section.

I have got mung beans, quinoa and buckwheat sprouting right now, they are in glass tumblers as I didn't have jars, they are soaked and rinsed and this is thier 1st day of sprouting.

I can't wait to be in here talking about gardening too soon.

Outside gardening is kind of a hobby of mine. When I lived in California I had enough space to grow a lot of vegetables so for variety sake planted over 50 different kinds of tomatoes. :)
Also had great success with zucchini and yellow squash that summer.
But my biggest success that summer had to be my rose garden. Had over 40 rose bushes with many colors and awesome smelling blooms.

I would love to have a garden! Maybe next summer we'll have a house instead of an apartment and a yard to grow things in :)

We have a short, but intense season... can't put any plants in the ground until after the 1st of June, and frosts come as early as August! But you should see the size of the cabbages we get from the midnight sun
