    Hi All,

I have been interested in doing a cleanse for a few months now. I have been reading about the master cleanse, and am thinking about trying it out.
Is it recommended that the MC last 10 days minimum? I would like to do it, however am going to be out of town every weekend for the next 3 weeks, and will have no way of mainitaining the fast while flying/on the road. My body really seems to be leading me toward this cleanse, but I know realistically I could only do it for 4 or 5 days in a row. Should I wait? Or try a juice fast?

    Default Mc

    Hi Rawcanadagirl, :)

I've done many Master Cleanses, and I only did them when I knew I was able to complete them. I tried doing a few 5 day MCs and the results just weren't the best considering how hard it was to get beyond the 3 hardest detox days (days 3, 5 and 7 I believe) It's a pretty intense cleanse and you get the best results when you are able to achieve a clean tongue. This can take anywhere from 10 to 40 days. Everyone has different results. I guess I don't think it's worth it to only do 5 days, and the inventor of the cleasnse recommends doing atleast 10 days. I would personally do a juice cleanse and wait on the MC. I think a juice fast would be a lot easier on your system.

Thanks for the advice Gwena, I had also heard that 10 days was a minimum for the MC. I think I will try a juice fast though :)
