    Default Liver Cleanse

I have been reading a lot about the liver cleanse and how we need to eliminate stones from our liver. This process of drinking olive oil with lemon juice sounds so gross to me.

If we are doing a raw food diet 100% and we are doing a Master Cleanse for 2 or more weeks, do we really need to go through all that to clean out the liver? Wouldn't the master cleanse do all that for us?

    Thanks for any information

    Default Nope

First of all, no I do not think you need to do the gall bladder cleanse (which is where you drink the olive oil and grapefruit juice) if you are eatint 100% raw and doing a master cleanse.

On the other hand, the juice/oil cocktail is surprisingly NOT gross. It goes down easy and doesn't taste bad at all... tastes like the juice. So if that's what is holding you up, please don't worry.

Lastly, not everyone needs to do the gallbladder flush. I'd say only if you've eaten SAD for many years with lots of burgers, fat, cholesterol or if you are already experiencing gallbladder issues would I suggest you do it.

How do you know if you really need a gallbladder flush or a liver flush? What are the symptoms to indicate this?

I don't really know if this is what I need. There was a post recently where the person went on all kinds of extensive cleanses before she actually went raw. She went on a 3 month cleanse program, one at a time. How many cleanses to you need to do before going raw? Do you need one for every major organ and then some? She even went on a lymphatic flush. What in the world is that?

Sometimes this can be a confusing subject but if anyone can help, please HELP!

    Good day,

    Default great questions

I actually wonder the same things as you.

As far as me I did the liver/gallbladder cleanse and didn't have a good experience. I put up a response under the other post with the picture of it. If you want to find out about all yucky details you can read about it in my lent journal,I did it about 1 week ago from today.

That was just my experience though so others might have a totally different experiment

    Default Honestly

Honesty. I just don't believe you NEED to do ANY cleanses if you're going 100% raw... just go raw and let your body do its work. It will cleanse naturally and slowly and safely all by itself.

These cleanses are mainly for people who are a little older, or who have been sick or not eating correctly. They are people with symptoms. Healthy young folks probably don't need to do cleanses. Just eat raw.

Your body will do the cleanse all by itself. Safely. CHeaply. Slowly.,
