I was at Micky D's yesterday, I got a salad, with everything on the side, and some fresh lemon wedges, we were on the road and going to a fair. I had fruit in the car, but wanted some fresh greens.
there were really beautiful, fresh greens, some deep purple, some red, cabbage, carrotts, tomatoes, and spinach, I had to stop when I got to the arugula, (hate that stuff, and it grows wild at our house) ICK, anyway, it was delicious, all the stuff, they thought was good, I gave to my dog.
But, while I was there, and they made my salad up fresh, which took about 10 minutes, I got to see alot of people coming in to this fast food place,
every single one of them was heavy, and I don't mean 40 or 50 pounds heavy, I mean at least 100 pounds overweight.
I am still a big person myself, but these people were huge, and very young people too, I'd say the average person there was about 300 pounds and about 20 years old.
and they all were getting everything on the menu, it breaks your heart, but all you can do, is allow them their choices and know that the raw food movement is indeed becoming mainstream, and that as we walk around, and people see us dissapearing before their very eyes (losing weight for those of us who are) then they start asking questions, and start telling other friends about it, and the message gets around.

I went to McDodalds the other day and got a salad too.. the lady in front of me was pretty heavy, she orded got her hamberger and as she was walking to her seat she came back very very angry she waked up to the counter slammed her hamberger down on the counter and yelled at the top of her lungs that she HATES vegitables and does not want them on her sandwich and here i am standing with my salad in shock.... it's amazin how people are when it comes to vegitables. another time i was at the grocery store and the casheir had no clue what broccli was.
wouldn't it be wonderful if people eating raw food would be as popular as the Low carb diets???

the one thing that bothers me the most.............
patrons who do not put their shopping cart away.
I've seen cars get scraped and hit by these objects. I believe this is a "borrowed" item and should be put back where it belongs.
FYI: Trader Joes on Sunday= single guys
