    Default Those on Juice Fasts ?

    How much juice are you drinking during the day? And how much fruit or veggies do you have to juice each day?

    Were you one of the persons that pm'd me. My boxhas been full twice and I accidentally deleted all messages so I didn't respond to some that I needed to....

    How much juice are you drinking during the day? And how much fruit or veggies do you have to juice each day?
    That depends on a couple of things:
    Everybody bodies are different, what's your goal?, do you have in blood sugar problems? tell us a little more about what your trying to accomplish? :)

    I was. I just figured I asked you too many questions and you didn't want to answer them. That's okay.

    My goal is a total detox and to lose quite a bit of weight. I would like to do a water fast but just in case it's too much for me (I'm one of those people who have Excedrin everyday) I wanted to check out the veggies/fruit just in case.

    A fasting guru --John Rose said one gallon juice a day,,, equal 16 pounds of fruits and veggies. So we will have a lot of nutritions to support cleaning..

    Levamd1, no way, I don't mind the questions. I've had so many emails that my box has been full twice this past week and I forgot "who's on first and who's on second"

    I'll answer here too.


    I always think starting with warm wate first thing in the morning is helpful to hydrate cells since the liver has worked so hard in the middle of the night.

    Bounce around and then juice

    The amount of juice you drink depends on your body's ability to sustain thru out the day.

    Most sites suggest 12-16 ounces of juice at one sitting---dilluting juice is optional.

    Drink the first juice and time it as soon as you feel hunger or get that slight dizzy feeling. Usually every 2-3 hours is max to go without the next juice.

    In between, I have found that water helps.

    I find that mostly greens with added fruit is best!

    The liver is active between 1-3 am according to TCM --also you will notice that is the time most people wake up during the nite! INteresting hugh?

    As you progress, you may find yourself modifying the fast.....like all of a sudden juices seem too sugary or heavy so you dillute them---that is okay too. Just make sure pulp is strained.

    Prepare for day 5 by drinking water consitently the days prior bc the body become approx 80% toxic............
