Default core secrets or ball exercises

I saw infomercial and love seeing the core secrets video snips. www.coresecrets.com. Seems like a twist to Windsor exercises or even Denise Austin...all are great.........

I love doing ball exercises, and these dvd/vhs look so fabulous. I'm hoping to get an inexpensive way to be blessed with them.

    Hi Carol,
I, too love doing ball work for my core. My favorites are simple moves, like oblique twists, reverse and regular crunches. The key is to keep your belly button pulled in and do the moves in a controlled manner. I find that it works best doing about 12 reps, in fact, that is all I can do if I do them right, b/c I get such an intense burn.
No offense against the infomercial, but I would suggest going to the library and checking out some books about core training to get some ideas. Or, you can stop by a book store and just memorize the pics w/out buying. Just a few suggestions. I have a ton of moves for core, but they hard to explain.
Good luck and have fun, GR

I agree, GoingRaw. The library sometimes has DVD's that you may order or if your library is willing, they might even purchase the tapes for you. I think it takes a few people requesting it first though.

CarolG, I am addicted to informericals. They are so convincing, and since I don't have cable, when I watch TV, it's usually an infomercial, but I have realized (slowly) that somethings just aren't as they may seem. If you already have a ball, you can just rent or borrow DVD tapes that focus on the core.

    Just my two cents.

    Be blessed!

I saw that infomercial too, and wanted to buy it. Even though I already have an exercise ball and photocopies of exercises from books that I checked out from the library! I wish I could just buy the DVD. I checked their website and it looks like you have to buy the whole works...
