I primarily use almond butter for almond milk, so I don't go through it too quickly. I buy conventional rather than organic, though.

No, but you can order it from http://www.alissacohen.com/ or on Amazon.com

Butternut squash is a lot firmer than pumpkin, so I don't think such a subsitution would work well.
-
Quite possibly. B12 is the only one you might need to worried about. I'd recommend just getting a yearly blood test for B12 and supplement if your levels start dropping.

Most soy products are cooked. The only one that's not (to my knowledge) is natto, fermented soybeans.
Many people also have concerns about the effect of phytoestrogens on the body. I personally...

I found this recipe idea on Recipezaar and tried it last night as a snack. Absolutely marvelous! It would work as a dessert, snack, or light meal.
Peel oranges and slice into rounds.

FYI, she's had four pregnancies total, two of which were while raw.

Shepherd's purse! It's more of a seasoning than a green to be eaten by itself (it has a peppery flavor), but I see it all over the place. Its heart-shaped leaves make it pretty easy to recognize.

What are you doing in the way of exercise? You should consider strength training if you want to maintain or increase your muscle mass.

Is there anything specific you're craving? This adversion to the raw foods you usually eat may be your body's way of telling you it needs something specific.

Thank you for the info. I generally have pretty uneventful menstruation (no cramps, bloating, or other pain), so I don't think fasting while menstruating would be harmful to myself. However, I...
-
Why is fasting while menstruating considered sinful? I'm not Muslim, so even if I do this fast I won't be following that prohibition, but I'm curious as to what the reasoning is.

I've tried raw corn three times or so, but haven't liked it. It tastes decently sweet, but far too starchy. Anyone else experienced this?

I was going to suggest RP's brownies as a substitute for cake, but I see you're already planning to serve those! lol... :D

Only from a botanical standpoint. When talking about fruits, vegetables, etc. with food combining rules, the terms used are culinary ones, not botanical ones.
