I just checked out Pure's site. It says they use brown rice protein. Anyone know the story on that?
-
Oh -- that's good, within raw limits. I like the apricot and coconut one in a pinch for something.

I posted a way to open them, too, that is so easy. I will try to find the thread, or you can search it with my user name. I used the way that someone else had posted, and they open 1-2-3.

I bought the new Boot Camp from Billy Blanks -- I am a sucker for infomercials. Anyway, it has the bands. I find it more challenging for my upper body than lower -- and I need more work on the lower....

I don't keep anything for more than 3-4 days. Someone may say that is too long, but I haven't had any trouble doing it. I have, on occasion, thrown out more food than I would have liked to.

Yes -- both of of those items are (theoretically) raw. If your dad is just coming home, I would hold off a bit on the spice.
You can do a quick web search for recipes.

Now I am concerned about the B12 supplement I am taking. Can it hurt me? Should I stop? And do I have to stop gradually? AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH, confused!!!!!!!!!!

There also is the Think Organic bar. I wrote the company but haven't heard back.

I think it depends on the recipe. Tonight, I am making a buckwheat cereal from Raw Food Real World that only calls for the buckwheat being soaked. Sort of like nuts in various recipes -- depends on...

I have heard that on many times and am hoping that is the case!

I would comment on the Israel thing, but I will save that for another thread!
As for the exercise -- what about water aerobics. There isn't any stress on the joints, and the water supports you --...

My mouth still gets sore -- sensitive teeth, cracked/dry lips, taste of metal -- and I have been raw for almost 60 days. The effects are less than before, so just stick with it!!!

Try for the whole fats -- avocados and nuts rather than oils. That is what I am trying now. And yes, eat more. I used to feel like I was constantly eating. I try to make gourmet once or twice a week....

I know what you mean about the seeds. I have noticed them too. YOu aren't crazy.

Thank you Rawpriestess!
I understand being overweight. I have been since I was a child. Granted, not morbidly obese, but at my heaviest I was 40 pounds overweight. Since going raw (July 15th will...

I did last night, thanks!

Alissa and several other people use Bariani. I bought it directly from their website, and am waiting for it to arrive.

Sorry to those of you who might have started making this --
but the chocolate freezer fudge has 2 tsp of vanila and a pinch of salt. I am sure it would be fine without it, but ... if you haven't...

The book is at home -- but I think I remember it:
16 oz of almond butter (I know the debate over which one is raw, but use what you are comfortable with.)
1/4 c raw carob powder
1/2 c plus 2...

I just searched for Woodstock Farms on this site, as my hfs had the almond butter. I purchased it, thinking I could always return it. I have some Maranatha at home, but I would really like to return...

There is this handy gadget called a cherry pitter. It looks similar to a nut cracker, but you place the cherry inside, squeeze the handle and this thing pushes the pit out. I got mine at Bed Bath and...

You can dehydrate the almond meal to use as flour. Actually come to think of it, I made an almond cookie once with the leftover almond meal, some honey, dates, raisins or currants -- something of...
