OP---I ran my VM for 4 minutes and my soup was less than 100 degrees. As you know, the machine can make anything smooth before that! No worries!

I use it for EVERYTHING! I don't have a food processor, so I just use my VM. You can also warm up soups in it! I use it 4-5 times a day when I'm making recipes!
