I'm very new to raw, but I'll gladly share what I know...
1. Can I manage a raw food diet without having to cook? Or would I still need a stove/oven? I still use my stove. It's such a handy place...

The other night, I stuffed avocado halves with nut pate and ate it. So good.

Somehow, I believe that...

Thanks!

One of my doctors once told me that it's because the sweetness in the honey makes saliva glands work which helps keep the throat moist. Not sure if he was pulling my leg or not, but that's what he...

Yay! Another addic-- erm, green smoothie fan. :D

I say you should eat normally, exercise as usual (maybe upping some cardio wouldn't be bad), don't try to lose muscle along with fat and let your body become what it wants to.
And I don't know...

That's what I've been doing lately, too - shop for the sales and figure out what to do with it later.
My husband is non-raw and barely vegetarian so I'll try to make a salad that we can both share...

Because they taste like cardboard and we all know that cardboard = healthy. :p

My husband knows why I'm doing it and he's very impressed with the results so far. Everyone else just thinks I'm strange - but they've thought that no matter what, so I'm not concerned. :D

I talked to a friend of mine who lives in NL and this is what I was told:
The health food stores might be able to have things like beet tops and swiss chard (check the alternative health stores,...

That's what I made when I made my first batch of kale chips - although not intentionally. I'm trying to figure out what I did so I can do that again.

If you want to get into things like raw bread, crackers, leathers and the like, a dehydrator is a must. If not then it's not needed at all. It all depends on your uncooking style and what works...
-
If a recipe calls for one sort of nuts, can I sub with another kind or will that completely ruin the recipe?
-
I'm going grocery shopping next week, but wanted to ask you all what you think I should get?
