I like to open two brown coconuts and scrape out all the meat, then put it through my food processor shredder, then mix with a bit of agave and dehydrate in my excalibur. Once it's all dry, I store...

The coconut/lime cookies from Sarma's new cookbook are really good. The cranberry/ginger cookies from Sweet Gratitude are awesome for the holidays.

I'm here! Keep up the good work! I've got to go pull out my book and look at the recipes you're making! I do remember making the potatoes/gravy and they were really good.

I think Alissa's marinara is the best I've ever had...cooked or uncooked. Great idea to freeze it!

I made Buckwheat Crispies (both cinnamon and cocoa) for the first time...wow, they are amazing! I'll bring both, with an ice cold pitcher of brazil nut milk.

GW---if you want a digital camera, I have one that I was wondering how to get rid of (like toss out...). I'll send it to you if you want. PM me!

congrats! You'll love it! Mine is humming right now with buckwheat crispies in it! The excalibur is so versatile. You can actually fit a 1/2 sheet pan in the bottom...I just realized that!

The denture cleaner really didn't help. I put 3 tablets in and let it sit for about 45 min. I think what's worked best was a thick solution of vinegar/baking soda and scrub.

I've been wanting to try it, but I keep thinking...how can hummus made from zucchini possibly be hummus-y? Ok ok...I'll try it. I don't have that book, doesn't Alissa have a recipe in her book for...

Same here...but I have a K-tec (love love love it). I recently scrubbed it w/ baking soda and vinegar...it helped a lot but not in the corners. I just figured I should live w/ it. I've even tried...

When I'm raw, I naturally have much less of an appetite. But, my weight loss really slows if I drop under 1000 cals a day (I'm 6.0" female). So, I've learned that I need to keep cals up. Also as...

It's awesome you guys are doing this! I'm following along every day. I have a bajillion raw cookbooks, so I've only made a few of Alissa's items.

When I make anything from Sweet Gratitude, I think I could never eat SAD ever again. I always keep the SG fudge and brownies in my freezer. The german chocolate cake is the best I've ever...

One of the best chili recipies I've had is Gabriel Cousen's (I can't remember the name of his book...). I make raw corn chips and with the chili, it tastes like nachos.
