Since I was asked to started a new thread, here it is.

What legitimacy do you to give to the enzyme claim (ie. the number reason to be raw according to most raw 'scientists')?

If someone is claiming that their 'ideas or thoughts' are scientifically legitimate, especially if they're selling a product based on such claims, then they should be prepared to back their claims...

Though, I don't necessarily agree with cornvalley's statement that enzyme supplements will diminish the body's ability to make its own, I do with his/her general statement that they are unnecessary.

May I ask what specific enzymes you are taking? Because the vast majority of enzymes do not help the body digest food, despite what David Wolfe, Gabriel Cousens, or any other so-called 'experts'...

Its just something that an animal like ourselves would never eat. Just like we would never eat grains or legumes raw. Its totally unappetizing in its natural state.

And yes, it is very unhealthy.
