Some great things to snack on are bananas, pears, carrot sticks, cucumbers, nuts and dried fruit. I take a huge salad for lunch. I try to keep the faux donut holes handy for the afternoons. I'm...

Yes, when I can I use raw almond milk. If I am in a pinch and haven't made almond milk I will actually use, Heaven Forbid, pasturized almond milk.
-
I love almond milk in my smoothies. I don't know if it's questionable but I love it. Anything that helps me eat raw over cooked is good at this point.

I read in an Edgar Cayce book that he suggested eating a raw potato everyday to prevent kidney stones.

LearningDaily,
You are absolutely 100% right.
This board has helped me keep on track and the encouragement is so helpful. Thanks so much for all the mayo suggestions. Of course, I'll try them...

lore-ah,
I am with you on the beer thing. I LOVE beer. I've been beer free for 1 month but I still can't kick that mayo thing. HA!

I've been able to give up everything in the hopes of being 100% raw except for 2 things. That would be mayonaise and tortillia chips. What is up with that? Flour, sugar, grains, dairy and alcohol,...

To find the Waldorf Salad do a search and type in 'Allison Waldorf Salad'. It will be under the thread "I need sweet potato ideas". If you like a sweeter salad you will like this one.

Allison,
I made your Waldorf Salad today and it was delicious! I used dates instead of raisins and slightly less lemon juice but it was so flavorful. Thanks for sharing the recipe.:D

Bananas or cantelope are always great with spinach. Sometimes I add about 1/2 cup of almond milk to make mine creamier. They are fabulous!

Your desciption of you chopping the nuts is STILL making me laugh. That was so funny. If you have a coffee grinder you might try that. Mine doesn't sound quite as loud as my food...

Jules,
I love that! Leave it to someone from Texas to think of adding jalapenos to their juice. I had actually thought of it awhile back but didn't do it. I'll bet it would be excellent!
