I had serious moodiness my first time out. It was like my feelings were easily hurt. But I do remember feeling happier the majority of the time. This time out, I don't have any moody feeling so I...

Yup! I agree with that 100%!!!

LOL I know exactly what you mean although I might have phrased it a little differently.
This diet is not about deprivation. If you are feeling deprived of something, like have a hankering for a...

Ooo... I also wanted to reinforce that raw is not just a diet. It's a way of thinking and living. Although I'm still eating lots that's bad for me, I think differently about food and what I...

Some people reccomend a few doses of probiotics but I don't know if they can be called raw or even good long term. I think that cleansing foods like lots of watermelon would do you some good.

Sometimes, eating cooked can make you feel so wretched afterward that you don't have to get on yourself about because your body is doing it for you! ;) Start again. That's all we can do. It's the...

I've been reading a lot about Candida. I learned that I have an overgrowth. I have never experienced an external yeast infection but my body is ravenous for sugar in all forms.
One other thing...

Hi, sweetie. Don't lose hope, just like all these lovely people are telling you. I have yet to complete a 30 day. I had a raw friend close by and she helped me through so much of it. She's moved...

If you're feeling emotional, try less fruit for a while. I found I'm over-emotional when eating 50/50 fruits/veggies. If I go to about 30/60/10 fruits/veggies/fats, my emotions stabilize a bit.

To my knowledge, it's just the almonds. But I suppose we could always call TJ's corporate and find out....

When a friend falls ill (headache, general icky feeling) and you ask them to spit in a glass. When they look at you like you've gone completely over the edge, you realize that not EVERYONE has heard...

Erm.... I heard somewhere once that sleeping with flannel on (or anything on) is not as warmth-producing under blankets as being er.... natural. :o I've spent enough time camping in tents over the...

Ann, perhaps this will help shift the way you think about it.
True hunger does not hurt (or so Frederick P, don't ask me to spell his last name, said in his ebook) and that makes sense to me. ...

Just a comment on the starchy taste.... I've read somewhere on this board that soaking in water before doing anything else (after cutting up is better) will help get rid of most of the starch taste.

I think it's important to make a distinction here. It will only take a handful of days to get rid of the symptoms of coffee addiction. I believe most people say 2 or 3 days. (I've never actually...

This is ABSOLUTELY the case for me too! I know that, even if I can't manage to be 100% raw, I will NEVER AGAIN buy a pre-packaged meal of any kind. The thought of what we were eating when I bought...

Yes, these are the studies I'm familiar with. I agree that there's a link. I just meant to say that propbably anything unnatural can give you cancer if you ingest/inhale enough and I believe the...

My dear, I have just been through a BIG RA ride with my hubby. I know what they will want to give you, I know the side effects, and I know the chances each has of working.
Please PM/email me...

I would like to tell you a story. My first husband was a relatively healthy eater. While not vegan, he was vegitarian for his health. He drank only diet drinks. He drank about 4 or 5 diet peach...

You're absolutely right. In my home town (middle of no-where Washington) I always give folks my friendly face. Here, in Los Angeles, I find myself frustrated. It's mainly the laziness of people...
