I watched the clip and I hated the way the show was protrayed. I guess I shouldn't expect anything else from tyra, wanting to gain viewers, but the tone of the show seemed sooo agressive... Although...

It should be. It's made from minerals. I've never heard that it isn't and I know many vegans who use it

Baking Soda is made in a lab though, from inorganic ingredients so I wouldn't recomend it for a raw foodist. Much like the difference between sea salt and table salt.

Thank you Sheryl. I downloaded the e-book. It's wonderful. If you want I can translate it to Norwegian for you.

I just got Sunfood Diet.... book. I've just started reading it, but so far I really like it. I know someone had a thread about it. Maybe if you do a banana search for David Wolfe you might find it?

Thanks. I haven't been using liquid in it as I was worried it would break. I use it all the time for dry stuff, so it won't go to waste. I was just curious as others use their with liquid. I've been...

I have a question about coffee grinders. I got one for christmas and I love it. I wanted to use it to make dressings and small amounts of macadamia cream etc, however reading the instructions it said...

I use a cloth tea strainer. I like them because they have an iron ring at the top that helps keep them open. They are super cheap too.

As a kid we used to eat raw rubarb all the time.... I don't think it's toxic. The leaves are toxic though

I'm not entirely sure, but I think you might want to talk to the bride and groom or whoever is organizing the event, then they will talk to their caterer. I think that's how it works. It's what I...

I read sweetgoddes' journal, and she talks about having a detox symptom where everything she ate tasted like mold. My guess would be detox, espesially as your husband said it tasted fine.

According to Alissa's book the only vinegar you should use is apple cider.

The agave itself isn't very expencive. However shipping to Norway is at least $96, then I have to pay import taxes, and because the norwegian government is weird I may or may not be allowed to...

I'd love your recipe for oatmeal :)

Misslinda I thought about raw honey, but I'm vegan and I just wouldn't feel right eating it. I know there is a lot of controvercy about honey in vegan circles, but I've decided that I don't want to...

Thanks Shari :)
I read Rawkinlocks post too, and I figured that if anyone answered my question that's what they'd say. But it's nice to hear it anyways :P I just need to reassure myself that I'm...

I just found out today that the only agave I can get here in Norway isn't raw :(
It has been heated to 60 degrees celcius (~ 140 degrees farenheit). I know many of you will say just order it online,...

That's ok :) It's nice to know someone is there to help you along the way.

I've heard that this can be caused by vitamine b deficiency, although I wouldn't think that should be a problem on raw, especially if you are eating organic.

Agave is the sap of a cactus. Tequila is made from agave... I'm a dork :P
misslinda: I only recently got Alissa's book. I've been following soaking instructions in other books. I change the...

Oh, that's right. I remember you said that. My bad. Just remember that the power in the US is different than in the UK. They run on 110V, not 220V. I'm not sure if you can get one from the US with...

Indi, Shazzie's webstore sells them, detoxyourworld.com. Also I think the fresh Network might have some. They are both based in the UK.
