There are tests you can do to see if something's edible or not (or to see if you're allergic to it).
Don't use this test with mushrooms, and don't eat anything with a milky stem except dandelion....

What a coincidence, I actually had an herbalist come to my home today and show me what was growing in my yard. We found garlic mustard, chickweed, milkweed, red clover, onion grass, English plantain,...

Jenifae: tea isn't raw.
Nevertheless, I do drink it on occasion (hmm, I guess that makes me a bit less than 100%). Typically I will drink it if I'm feeling very cold, as I live in an old, drafty...

I haven't posted in a few days. . .sorry.
Been all raw though. I've been really into mangoes lately.
Have a great day.

This raw journey is really amazing (I am almost at ninety days). Something happened this morning that I never thought would happen: I made a green smoothie WITHOUT bananas and it was delicious. Just...

Congratulations everyone for making it to day 30!!!
Today marks 2.5 months of being 100% for me, that's the most I've ever gone.
One wonderful change I've noticed is that I don't panic anymore...

You're pretty ambitious for a first-timer! Our first year we just planted herbs, peppers and tomatoes.
We live in upstate NY (Hudson Valley) and are doing square foot gardening too. It's our...

Hi all,
Today I'm mostly having green smoothie. Woke up and had a hanker for a whole head of kale!

Drank a pitcher of pina colado earlier. Had some legume sprouts, and made some guacamole for later.
That's all, have a great day, bye.
