All of these children are beautiful and so, so lucky to have such caring and loving parents!
In the world that we live in, seeing raw children so clear-eyed and healthy, smiling, nearly brings tears to my eyes! Thankyou for sharing and i'm sure your children will thank you for all that you've done for them :)
these are awesome!
I'm going to somehow bookmark this thread because the recipes and the kids are sooo beautiful and healthy!!
I have a 20month old who is high raw and a hubby who is indifferent, so I need recipes that are easy to make for both of us, and delish for toddler's food mashing inclinations, lol!
THanks so much EPPP! I have already sent you an email :)

My 12 month old son is still breast feeding but he just started eating solid food consistently and I've had so much fun introducing him to new foods.
The biggest thing that helped me was teaching him to drink out of straw.
I can get nutrition in him so much quicker than with a spoon! He loves drinking water, carrot and green juices!! I'm careful not to let him drink too much tho, he just takes little sips out of my glass...but after observing him...his body seems to tell him when to stop. I'm amazed!
So far he enjoys:
raw corn mixed with lightly steamed broc
soaked oats with ground flax seed and banana (oatmeal)
green juice (kale, chard, romaine, dandelion greens, cucumber, apple)
I plan on incorporating almond and coconut milk soon...
Bump...lets start this again
I am so glad I came across this thread! It has helped me come up with so many ideas for my kids! I have one child that loves vegetables and enjoys raw food but the other that I can barely get to eat a vegetable, Its so hard! Anyway I'm getting there.. there was a post in the thread by eachpeachpearplum and two books were mentioned 'Introducing living foods to your children' and 'Raw Kids' I will most definitely be getting those books so thankyou for those recommendations!
Our son's second birthday cake. Walnuts, bananas, dates, cacao, vanilla bean, with icing made of dates, vanilla bean, cacao, coconut.
Some of the snacks at the birthday party. Blueberries, grapes, veggie tray with hummus, celery and almond butter, sundried tomato walnut pesto wrapped in zuchini, dehydrated crackers.
I just love this thread! Thanks for the great ideas everyone!
Julie-lmp what an adorable little boy you have!!
Today I made apple noodles with the spiralizer, and topped them with strawberry sauce made of just strawberries and agave. I then sprinkled some ground walnuts on top. It was really tasty. :0)
Sorry I don't have a photo. It looked like regular pasta with tomato sauce, but tasted totally different lol!
Good idea, Lucy. Hmmm, what did you do about the core? Or did you just cut off pieces around it, and use those individual pieces in the spiralizer?
I just put the core in the round hole that's supposed to keep the apple (or other fruit or veg) in place while it spins, so it spiralized around it. I don't know if that makes sense :)
It does. I'm going to give that a try. Thanks...Mary Kay
