I would pick Clover and alfalfa. You get a big bowl of nice green sprouts for a spoonfull of seeds.
Sport,
Thank you for your sprout tip :-)

Hi Aasyah,
I sprout all the time - it's SO inexpensive! You will be amazed at how many sprouts you will get from so little. The first time I sprouted (a mix of clover, alfalfa, and radish), I used a heaping tablespoon of seeds, and had to "upgrade" to a larger container every 2 days!
Alfalfa/radish/clover take about 5-6 days to sprout fully, but if you want something now then you can sprout beans like garbanzos - I eat them in salads, and they only take a day or so (sprouting time) until they are ready.
Have Fun! :D
aasyah, another frugal tip from me is to save yourself buying a "sprouter". I get much better results from jars. I like mason jars (canning jars) with a piece of screening under the ring lid. Or you can use any old clean jar, an elastic, and something to go across the top, I've heard of everything from cheesecloth to pantyhose.
Sprouts in general are very cheap! Welcome to sprouting, I think it's great. I especially love it in winter when it's harder to get nice fresh organic veggies.
I second that, Exurb! I have never had a problem sprouting in glass jars with a cheesecloth/rubber band lid. So cheap and easy - :D
