Today's a rest day for me - but I think cleaning the house should count... it's a lot of work, and I'm actually breaking into a light sweat. =)

Good evening,
Today I felt better so I rode my bike for 45 min at 13 mph. It took 5 mi just to loosen up, my thighs were burning. I fell great, so I guess I will step things up Get some!
The reason most people fail in reaching their goals is that they give up on what they want most for what they want at the moment.
Good evening,
DC weather was great, so I walked 2 mi during lunch
Evening stretching followed by light jogging ( without a clock). Picked up speed every time
1x100m
3x200m
5x400m
For time 2x400m 1:45
Bench press 5x5 (bw)
Deadlifts 5x5 (bw+20 lbs)
Had a nice workout, rested and stretched Get some!

My knee was great during my run today! Hurray! Wanted to run outside (it felt warm after the cold spell) but had to run @ gym b/c my daughter had karate.
4-mile run on treadmill
3 x 8 push-ups
3 x 25 bicycle crunches
2 x 50 upper crunches
2 x 50 lower ab crunches
I had wanted to start the 2-week beginner but my knee got in the way. Since I'm feeling good I'm going for it tomorrow.
Cheers!
PS - @ C2BWell - Yesterday you wrote, "The reason most people fail in reaching their goals is that they give up on what they want most for what they want at the moment." Where is that from? It's a great quote.
Good evening,
Queenbee, I was reading about LtGen Lewis "Chesty" Puller and Eisenhower when I came across it, I really like it, it tells it like it is. I don't believe the quote can be attributed to them.
My workout today was simple and basic
12 min rebounding, followed by 10 min of stretching; then I worked on something I suck at:
Thrusters 8x8 (45#)
3 rounds for time of
10 burpees (SUCK)
20 squats
30 abmat sit-ups (un anchored)
Time: 8:40. The 1st 10 burpees were easy, the rest sucked including the jump with an overhead hand clap make them suck more! The abmat sit-ups hurt especially when unachored.
Cool down: 3x 10 box jumps, 3x5 knees to elbow Get some!

How is everybody?
I've only been walking these past days, trying to recover a bit from last week.
Good evening,
About the only thing good about DC today was the weather, walked 2 mi at lunch.
Evening, 15 min stretching, 12 min of rebounding
5x5 squats (bw+20 lbs)
3x10 DB curls, Kettlebell swings and hanging leg raises. Get some!
This is an interesting quote, happy not to have an account;
I forgot to post on Facebook that I was goings to the gym, now the whole workout is a waste of time
Great February - yesterday was a run for me.
I'm going to keep moving in March and will post when I can - I won't have as much computer time. I'm thinking a few times per week instead of daily.
Keep moving!
Good morning All!
Sorry I've been a little MIA lately, it has been a busy month. I have managed to work out a little bit with some strength training videos and got some fun down hill skiing in. Last week I got the go ahead from my doctor to start running again! I've run been running a few miles every other day and it feels great. I'm going to keep the mileage low for awhile just to get back into the swing of things. And I would really like to work on my form with the materials you provided, Choose2BWell. It's amazing what a month break to can do for your lung capacity. :)
Keep up the great work everyone!!!
@ 2 husky girl - welcome back. It's good to see that you're still being active.
Good evening,
Welcome back 2 husky girl, I started doing yoga today, but stopped just wasn't feeling it. So it will be a day off. I know what you mean about taking time off, it works wonders on the mind and body.
