I'm going to be starting raw here shortly, and I was just curious what everyone eats on a normal "raw" day. I would just like to get some general ideas to help me when I start. Thanks!

You can check out the raw challenge thread where many post what they eat. Or ReneeH documented her 30 day raw food journey:

Thanks LaughAlways for referring to me! I'm so honored!!!! :)
OregonGirl: First, congratulations on your raw journey!!! What I eat varies from day to day. Somedays, when I want the big breakfast I'll eat: Chia Pudding w/fruit, Raw Donut Holes, large bowl of fruit, Apple Stuffed Crepes, or even French Toast w/Eggplant Bacon. Then, there are times when I want something light: Green Smoothie, Coconut Water, freshly made Juice, or just a pint of Spring Water. Today I had a Banana and Orange with one Raw Donut Hole.

Lunch today was a Raw Pizza:

Hubby took me out to dinner, which was a HUGE Salad. Lunch and dinner also varies from day to day. It's of the time, I enjoy my gourmet raw meals, which is where Alissa's books come in handy. Many of the recipes I make come from her. I do have a raw business, so I get leftovers from there which makes me spoiled!!!!! But, often times I make gourmet raw at home. I love the food and it keeps me from going back to SAD meals.
It's not unusual for me to be in my kitchen in the wee hours of the morning uncooking to my hearts delight, but that's ME. Your schedule may not allow for that. So, on your day off (perhaps Sunday) make all your pizza crusts for the week. With the ingredients in front of you it takes literally minutes to make. Cut up some Zucchini, Pineapple, Apples, or slice a Sweet Potato and lay on dehydrator sheet and make chips! (I'm HUGE on snacking!!!!) If you don't have a dehydrator, take that day to wash your veggies...plan your meals for the week. The point is, do what works for YOU. Only you know when that is.
Try Alissa's 30 day plan in Living on Live Food. She even gives you the shopping list for each week. From there, you will get creative and learn to listen to your body and what it wants throughout the day. Sometimes you'll eat lightly, but when you want a Torte, or Enchilada, or Pizza, if you plan right you can have whatever you want and stay raw doing it! :)
If I can help you, just let me know!

As always Renee your food looks awesome...it makes my mouth water! I eat very simply with mainly fruit in the morning, juice for mid morning, large salad greens with carrots and cucs for lunch and dinner with more fruit. Sometimes I make a blended soup and gently warm. Right now I am making a lot of salsa using an organic mango, a cucumber, an avocado and a little red onion. Sometimes I add corn. I find recipes of varying salads like broccoli salad, coleslaw, etc. I also like chia pudding.
I pretty much keep it relatively simple by following a general routine...
Breakfast - a fruit based smoothie
Snack - fruit or a few nuts (or both)
Lunch - either a big salad (with veggies) OR a veg-based raw soup
Snack - either leftover morning smoothie or fruit
Dinner - varies more - either raw soup or some kind of raw wrap or salad
Snack - nuts or fruit or a treat - like chia pudding or something (or nothing if I'm not hungry)
Hope that helps!
I always start my day with a large green smoothie. I put 2-3 fruits, a handful of greens, 1/2 an avocado, raw protein powder, ice, and water. So that is my breakfast. For lunch I bring to work with me either a salad and a piece of fruit w/ a raw revolution bar, or if I have made something fancy like eggplant pizza, carrot pecan burgers or something, i will bring that along. The same for dinner. My favorite thing at the moment is mac and cheeze (using zucchini for noodles)....I'm trying to get more greens into my diet all the time. Super important!!!!!
That second picture looks sooooooo good Renee! I'm def gonna have to try it. Mac and cheese with zucchini for noodles? How do you do that? And what's in the carrot pecan burgers? That sounds good!
Sunflower greens about 1lb. Sesame seed sprouts. Sunflower seed sprouts. Chia sprout or flaxseed sprout powder. Will also be incorporating the legume sprouts of lentil and mung, also the clover/fenugreek/alfalfa sprouts. Spirulina. Kelp and dulse.
Working on the wheatgrass also.
Grated carrot or beets. If I find some cheap organic berries I'll buy them and have a little with my sprouts salads.
Working on the fermented stuff like cabbage, carrots, ginger and beets.
fruit n nuts in morning and all day
dinner is mixed greens salad loaded with fave vegis plus alot of avacado and tons of seeds like sun / sesame / hemp / flax / walnuts , with home made applecidervinegar and cold pressed oil n herb dressing
Thank you!!! I'll answer part of that question.... The Carrot Pecan Burgers are from Living On Live Food by Alissa. They are FANTASTIC!!!!!!!

Be careful with the carrot pecan burgers. I made a salad and put six of the burgers on a side plate. They were so amazing that I couldn't stop myself from eating the entire batch - eighteen carrot pecan burgers!!!!!! Admittedly they were pretty small (the size of biscuits), but I had no self control with them (generally that's not a problem for me). They totally hit the savoury/tasty/satisfaction hole that I was trying to fill!
Wow Renee, those look really really good!
Thanks Sunshine!!!!!! :) They ARE so good!!! And incredibly easy to make!
They look delish. I must make some raw burgers again.
I'm on a 3 month super low glycemic raw diet right now and here's what it looks like:
Breakfast: raw buckwheat/flax/pumpkin seed crackers with coconut oil (salted so it's kind of buttery tasting)
Mid-morning glass of chia water (a tablespoon of chia soaked in 20oz water)
Lunch: cucumber/tomato/avocado salad with lemon juice
Mid-day Juice (spinach, parsley, swiss chard, tomato, garlic, lemon)
Dinner: BIG salad with various dressings, the two I like the best are blended celery/garlic/olive oil/italian seasoning or a tahini/lemon
I drink lots of water throughout the day and usually some type of herbal detox tea as well.
