I've never tried kiwi in a smoothie. They are usually kind of pricey in my area, so on the rare occasion I buy them, I just eat them alone or put them in a fruit salad.

Man, this food is just TOOOOOO good!!!!
Just leftovers today. Kim Chi still great. Got one more head of Butter lettuce, so I'll be eating in that. It's been a painful day with my foot, so I iced it down and stated off of it again. My Aunt gave me an idea to stay off of it by putting my knee on a rolling chair and scooting around on it! LOL!!! It actually works!!! But, I'm mostly staying off of it. It still needs more healing time....
i hope your foot feels better soon!
i have some butter lettuce I better use up real soon or it'll go bad
I'm STILL icing down my foot!!!! I guess it's just gonna take time to heal. I'm gonna stay off of it as much as possible. I remember the last time I had foot trouble. I was trying to be cute for hubby in heels and tripped in my garage! Funny, I think it was the same foot, too!!!!
I did manage to eat more Butter Lettuce Wraps, with Eggplant Bacon, Avocado, Tomato, and Cucumber. I also managed to make a couple of Pizzas with crusts I had (RFFE) using Avocado as the "Cheese" base:

It doesn't look like much, but it was good. I have to admit, I miss my nut cheese, though. But I see what people who are allergic to nuts go through. There are still plenty of recipes to choose from though!
Chocolate Macaroons (RFFE) minus the Almonds, add Carob:

Hi everyone! As some of you know, I've had some personal things going on and needed to step away from the forum for a week (nothing at all that had to do with raw, just personal family stuff). I tried to post, but had too much going on and couldn't.
Well, I did have nuts this week! ...with everything going on here, it was just too stressful to put limitations on my raw lifestyle. So, I'm just gonna pick up and keep going today with what I was planning to do.
Anyway, I'm able to post now, so photos will be coming soon! I started my day today with fresh juice: Celery, Cabbage, and Tomato. Not the best tasting juice, but OOOOOHHHH the ENERGY it gave me!!!!
I had a raw class yesterday, so I've got lots of leftover goodies to nibble on today.
I missed you guys!!! Feels good to be back!!! :)
We've missed you. I love broccoli in juices.
Thx Mystic!!!
Here's lunch: Collard Roll Sandwich:

I tend to just use the stems rather than the tops but I use my rather crappy centrifugal juicer. The taste is fab. Someone on here mentioned getting broc stalks from restaurants who otherwise would throw them away!
Hello Renee, everything looks good. Could you give me the full names of the books you get these recipes from? I am not familiar with the abbreviations you use. Thank you
Thanks PunkRotten! Sorry about that... LOLF is Living On Live Food and RFFE is from Raw Food For Everyone. Both are by Alissa Cohen who provides this site for us. I saw on another thread that you were looking for recipes. LOLF has almost 300 which range from simple to gourmet and RFFE are recipes from Alissa's former restaurant, Grezzo. Both books are fantastic! :)
