festive times and parties approaching

We had the menu choices for the company Christmas party through today. I realised that there was not going to be a raw, vegan option. I hadn't realised just how crap the vegan option would be though. It is just the vegetarian option with non vegan stuff removed! So . . . I rang the company up and remonstrated. The dessert was jelly for goodness sake. Not even specified as veggie jelly. I explained that I wasn't happy and would they mind if I brought my own food. They said that would be fine. RESULT of sorts. It shouldn't be necessary but thank goodness :)
