Day old juice
I have a question about drinking juice that is not freshly made. I just bought a new juicer after not having fresh juices for a long time. Anyway, sometimes I have to prepare my juice the night before for the following day due to time contraints. I already know that fresh is best but sometimes I can't drink fresh. I store the juice in tightly sealed mason jars that have been filled to the top with juice. I only make what I can drink within a 24 hour period so there is no waste.
Anyway, last night I made some strawberry lemonade to take to work today and I made some delicious apple carrot juice to drink when I came home. When I drank my strawberry lemonade today I noticed that it tasted sweeter than it did when it was fresh out of the juicer and when I arrived home tonight and grabbed the delicious apple-carrot juice that I made last night, it also tasted sweeter. Is that normal? It was so, so good! Even though the sweet taste was unexpected it completely eliminated the sugar cravings I had been having all day.
Has anyone else experienced that?
Thanks.
