So I started juicing daily 2 weeks ago. At first I was a little bit unhappy with throwing away the pulp, but now I realize I was being silly. The juicing goes to 4 adults daily. Hopefully it sticks. We'll see but I'm optimistic

I rarely juice at all... mostly citrus when I do. Uhhhhh, was that the question?
No, unless I am juice feasting! I would love to juice everyday, but it's pretty expensive to juice.
I have a cheapy juicer so I put the pulp back through several times until it basically has no color. I also use my Vitamix to juice (when it's not in the shop...:() and then strain through a nut milk bag. There is barely any pulp left when I do it that way....like a T. or 2.
no I don't juice every day but I am thinking to try some today. If the shops are open soon- it's bank holiday today.
I haven't juice for a while, but i am considering to get back to it. I have been doing smoothie. It seems to go with phase. When i juice, i don't do smoothie, lol...
All the best!
I have been juicing once a week now but I blend the other days. Hooked on watermelon smoothies and spinach/orange smoothies. yummy.
I understand that! It is the reason that I got started juicing some non traditional edibles. Dandelions, garlic mustard, pine needles, even grass from the back yard! I started working on my garden hot and heavy this week. I started some amaranth, red clover, millet, sunflowers and some popcorn. I'm going to juice all of it!
I've been juicing for the past few weeks at least 5 times a week. I'm starting my day with a Green Juice of: greens (rotating Kale, Spinach, Romaine, and Collards) with a head of Celery, 1/2 a Lemon, 1" of Ginger, and 2-3 Pink Lady Apples. I'm definitely finding that I crave the green juice now, especially 1st thing on the stomach...the more I juice the more I love it! :-)
I juice pretty much every day now. I didn't before. It can be a bit costly sometimes, but for me right now it is worth it. I do without a lot right now so I can eat and drink a healthy raw diet. I usually have a nice sized 18-32 ounce of mainly green juice in the morning. Sometimes I will have something else or something with it, but I think I feel the best when I have a big ole green juice to start the day.
Grow your own green sprouts and juice them, the cost is very low that way. The juice will also be far more nutritious then if you just juice store-bought vegetables.
We juice about 6 days out of the week with most of the shopping done at a local farmers market on Saturday. Last week we kept track of the cost of the veggies and fruit for juicing and here is the cost of juicing a morning juice of apple, carrot, celery, cucumber for two PLUS a green smoothie everyday made of kale or spinach, banana, carrots, ginger, flax seed, nutritional yeast, spirulina, frozen fruit.
25lbs carrots - $15
Large basket cucumbers - $4
pint blueberries - $3
celery - $4
large bunch kale - $3
large bunch spinach -$3
overripe on sale bananas (put in freezer)5-6 in the bunch $3
bag of organic apples - $5
large bag of frozen mixed fruit - $8
That totals about 48 dollars to juice and smoothie for two 6 days out of the week. The juice is my breakfast and the smoothie is either my mid morning or mid afternoon snack or meal. To me that doesn't seem too bad. We grow lots of sprouts that cost very little to throw in the juice or smoothes. That is about the cost of eating out for two if we go out twice. Does it seem like alot?
