I like the idea of using coconut milk (although I would use coconut water) as a base for raw chia pudding!

That sounds yummy. But I'm not sure I'd sacrifice any of my coconut water for it, lol. Coconut water is one of my favorites just on its own. :)
I am not sure about that recipe, 1 and 1/2 cups of chia seeds? You would need a huge amount of liquid in your cereal to have that many chia seeds. Chia seeds will use the water in your system if they are not presoaked and for a cup and one half I would be afraid you would severely injure your intestines and end up with a horrible blockage.
Just starting on the raw road...
Does it matter what/where the Chia seeds are bought. There is a huge price difference between buyng it online and in the stores. Also you mentioned the coconut milk, can it be coconut water, and can I use the coconut water to add to ANY of my juices, or do they only have to be fruit juices?
Thanks!!
Usually the internet offers some discount...so it's up to you. I have purchased a pound of organic chia seeds on line and I think I paid $10.00...in the store at W.F. I think it was twice as much. Try to get organic and of course raw. Spread your coconut water (goodness) all around. You make the rules about how you want to use it!!
Hope this helps!
Thanks! That helps. I actually just bought some from W.H from bulk on sale for 6/lb, but I dont think it said raw or organic on the label. I buy all other grains, nuts, veggies raw. I will add a bit of the coconut water to my veggie drink tomorrow, see how it tastes
Thanks again.
