At what point do you eat sprouted peas? Are they suppose to shoot up a steam with a leaf on it, or do you just eat the one long root looking thing?
I just sprouted some 3 year old peas and am impressed with them. :throwhearts:

I prefer them before they send out a shoot. I think they are best when the root bud just begins to swell.
Sprouted peas are best sprouted for about 10 days so the shoot grows really long and bushy, then cut off the actually pea and comsume the shoot. Much better to do it this way than actual eat the sprouted pea. Far more nutritious and far more digestable, and much nicer to eat too l think.
