That is a great sequence of pictures. Timed nicely so you can really see the difference. Thanks for sharing you are doing very well! Looking forward to the next update.
Heather Anne, I have been eating intuitively since day 1 - I have a long history of disordered eating so I try not to put to much pressure on myself. I did lose over 20 pounds in the first month, and about 10-15 lbs a month since. I did buy a juicer and was on a juice fast for a couple weeks, but now I try to have a meal of juice every day or every other day. I like fruit, and fatty foods like nuts and avocados. I don't drink smoothies. I try to eat a lot of collard greens and kale. I do get regular massages and find they help immensely in encouraging a positive focus and cleansing and healing the body. No saunas or colonics.
Here's an example of my daily diet:
B: Chia pudding with almond milk, bananas, raisins, honey OR buckwheat granola with banana AND a shot of E3 Live
L: Apples and almond butter or 16 oz of juice
D: Massaged kale salad w avocado, or something more exciting I've made in the dehydrator
I snack on dried fruit, nuts, seeds... nothing fancy! I drink a lot of tea right now because it is so cold here.
You look great and it's very inspiring
Thanks for sharing the nuts & bolts of your raw life-style, Amanda. I, too, have a long history of disordered eating and have found that consuming high amounts of raw living food helps immensely. I look forward to hearing of your continued progress. Blessings to you on the journey!
You look awesome!!!!!
Rawesome transformation. I look forward to future pic updates
Walnutty - To answer your question, I have a long history of disordered eating so I think that might contribute to the fact that I don't eat very much. I have associated eating with gaining weight (and that was driven into me by abusive people in my childhood and adolesence) so I think that part of me fears eating a normal amount of food. I understand that I could eat a LOT of raw foods and be healthy, but part of me has yet to learn that. I'm definitely going through a transformative process so I try to trust that my eating patterns will change and that I will be able to eat more in the future, and have more normal eating patterns in general.

New haircut and updated photos for you all! :)
Wow, an amazing transformation!!! You look radiant. I know you have a history of eating disorder but I have found that I lose weight faster if I eat a piece of fruit or something every two hours, even if I'm not hungry. I know it will take you a bit to get there but just thought I'd share and maybe give you a little gentle nudge. Sush an ispiration. Keep it up, you're doing rawsome!
I am so proud of you. Your face has slimmed down quite a bit. YEAH go Amanda.

Michele - Thanks for the advice. I will try to remember that. :)
Tracey - Thanks! I think so too.. isn't it amazing? I feel like I just look like myself but I think I am starting to really look like I feel I look, you know what I mean? Like I look like my healthiest, true self. It's pretty awesome.
