Great idea! I've been reading about oil pulling and maybe this is the perfect time to try it. Just returned from buying
a jar of coconut oil. And a salad spinner, never thought I'd ever do that!
Edit: Well I did my first pull! It was a little weird with the solid coconut oil, but when it melted it was ok. I wound up
doing some 20 minutes on my X-Iser so the time spent swishing was also well spent. Looking forward to trying again tomorrow.
I think the benefits of pulling would be most effective during a fast, with the toxins getting stirred up and needing to be released.
I'm interested in this experiment.
I will probably be joining you peeps today. Water or juice I haven't decided but I started last night and will go til Tuesday breakfast.
I chose water only since it will be just one day.
when i get to like day 4 fast my tongue always starts getting white coated of mucous / pollution being emitted up the esophogus onto tongue . well once i started oil pulling in morning on fasts that coated tongue quit happening as if the pulling was speeding the removal process by wicking the junk up out of esophogus and off tongue . now on fasts im proponant of pulling / skin brushing / warm baths with essential oils / salts . i never do these additional things but im a proponant of them , lol ;-)
Tuesday already. Fasting should be over today but I had such an upsetting day yesterday I'm not sure I can face eating.

Thank you Snowshoe. I decided that not eating because I was sad was not a positive action so I have broken my fast as planned. I shall be back next Monday.
Today is my 3rd day - smooth sailing. Getting some exercise and keeping up with
the oil pulling. The 20 mins is going a bit faster, and I'm using slightly less oil.
First time I had WAY too much going on.
Will be fasting through tomorrow Wednesday evening, and Thursday I resume eating for my 3 day work week.
This fasting plan really redefines the week for me!
I always wanted to try the eating only on work days program, and so far it's pretty cool!
Wrapping up my fast in about 90 minutes. This one went well, 4 days w/oil pulling. I feel really good with tons of energy.
I have some tasty Oregon apples line up and waiting and coconut/date/carrot/apple/pumpkin flax crackers in the dehydrator... A few days of organic raw eating and it will be time for Monday fast again!

I'm in. Started this morning. I almost caved earlier with but it was a momentary thing. I'd like this program to become a no thought
process, just a regular maintenance thing like doing laundry.
same here , ive been working on developing weekly short term fasting habit since last fall . i started weekly 24 / 48 hour fasts in september , then by november was building up to 5 days . then new years did a 30 and feb did a 15 , then a bunch of 5's thru spring . then all summer minimum 48 every week , longer when feeling it . but since september ive had huge appetite and finding it a tough fight to stay raw let alone fast . but i'll keep working at it because i KNOW the health / longevity / energy rewards are there . picked up a few pineapples and some pure frozen orange juice today for this week . yes frozen juice not optimum but its 100% pure and quick for when i get off work starving (i do physical labor) , i can make pitcher frozen oj in 2 minutes then guzzle it or ide be reaching for solid food if had to play around juicing something 15 minutes when im starving and in a hurry to go somewhere . so for me frozen oj is important
felt a slight struggle last night but feeling stronger today. What's 36 hours fasting in the general scheme of eating things!
Water for me now until about 7am Tuesday.
