No, I have kept mine.
I have always had a sense of smell - Why do you have no sense of smell? That will determine whether it can heal.
Mercury can mess with olfaction, as can zinc-deficiency (there's a close relationship between olfaction and taste and many zinc-deficient people rely heavily upon seasonings and salt, without realising they have an issue).
Having worked for many years in the woodworking industry, I had come to think that my poor sense of smell is due to dust damaging my olfactory receptors, but it turns out that my mercury-intoxication is a far more likely cause.
Within a couple of years from now, I may be far along enough with chelation to know for sure which is the case! :)
