Hello All,
I just began juicing and see cucumbers in quite a few recipes. I cannot stand the taste of them, but know they are nutritious and am hoping someone out there has discovered a way to, if not cover, at least minimize their taste.
Thanks!

I've never tried it, but maybe you could try zucchini in their place? They seem quite similar.
Great idea, thanks!
If you don't like cucumbers then why not substitute celery or a head of romaine lettuce? Cucumber has a high water content so celery or lettuce should work as well. Or just leave it out altogether. Be creative!
I never really notice the taste of cucumber in juices as its got such a high water content - have you tried them in one as you may be surprised?
I did try half of one in a tomato blend, and it was all I could taste....maybe because I don't like them? I'm not a carrot fan either, but haven't had such an issue with them, as with the cucumbers! I tried a zucchini in place of the cucumber this morning and it tasted really good. I didn't want to sacrifice any nutritional value by omitting the cucumbers from recipes, but I found a website which listed nutiritional info for all veggies, and it appear zucchini actually has more goodness than the cucumbers. Learn something new everyday! The experimenting will be fun!!!

Thank you, all!
Love cucumbers. Don't like cucumber juice! I eat them whole and don't juice them. try celery or lettuce instead amybe.
Same here. Love cucumbers, don't like cucumber juice.
Love watermelons, do not like watermelon juice.
Don't like cantaloupes, love cantaloupe juice with lime.
Go figure........
I have been hesitant to juice zucchinis....doesn't sound right to me. Maybe I will evolve one day.....
I did not think about lettuce, will definitely give it a try! Thanks!
I assumed if one does not like the fruit/veggie, the same would hold true for the juice. I will experiment with the cantaloupe, though.
Not a big melon fan, but am interested to see if I will like it; the poor cucumbers just couldn't make the cut!
