I'm really just starting to make fresh juices part of my daily routine and I am loving it! Gearing myself up for my first juice fast and hoped you could all share your favorite juice combinations. Can't wait to learn more~:wuv
Today I made some -
apple/pear/ginger/lemon...my grand daughters loved this one!
You know, I just mixed up a green smoothie in the blender and I had some left over sweet peppers (yellow), so I threw one in there. It's awesome. It provides just a little hint of kick.
My smoothies and/or juices end up being whatever I have on hand so today it was:
beet greens (I was lucky enough to find these at my farmer's market on Saturday)
one small yellow sweet pepper.
i dont like mixing , except in the case of tomato juice where i like adding alot of garlic for its medicinals / taste , plus parsley for minerals / vitamins
beyond that its just straight fruit juices like pineapple - apple - orange - etc
Cantelope, Strawberries, Peaches and almond milk. YUMMMMMMMM
beets, apple, and ginger gets the system pumping!
Thanks for the suggestions~
\Michigan Roman...do you mono eat too?
I like to mix bananas and strawberries together :)
I just made a juice with a Fugi apple, a medium cucumber, 1/4 of a lime, and a large handful of small beets, and it was definitely delicious.
Apple/celery/kale/fennel - yummy!
apple and lemons
carrot and cocoa
straight watermelon- rind and all
carrot apple and kale
often I just wing it though - good luck with your first fast!
Thanks for all the great ideas...am on day #23...loving it!
l only drink strong green juices.
My favourites are:
1). grass juiice
2) weed juice
3). sunflower green juice mixed with alfalfa sprouts and kelp
Grass juice? Weed juice? Seriously?
There are a bunch of weeds behind my building and I was thinking about putting them in my juicer, but I decided it was probably not as good of an idea as it seemed like.
