I don't use that type of gadget but to my untrained eye it looks very plasticky!

I bought a plastic one and it worked very poorly, different brand though, one someone on this board recommended. Just my luck..... Someday I'm going to get an omega wheat grass juicer. I love how I feel on the stuff.

I've got all kinds of wheatgrass juicers, and I've tried some of the plastic models.

My manual one is solid stainless steel. I got it in the event the power ever goes out, there's some great catastrophe etc...for my kids and grandchildren...I know it will last, but can't count on the plastic ones.

My ss one really does work, and you can put in a few apples, or carrots along with it, but frankly, it's tiring and time consuming, expecially if you're going to bulk it out, like I should be doing with my wheatgrass cover crop in my garden right now!

I Have an Omega VRT 330, and the pulp ejection hole is so small in it, it gets plugged up, when you do bulk. their 350/newer model has a larger hole and I think that's the way to go. I can get an updated part, and keep planning on doing so, but am just using my Samson in the meantime.....

I'm dragging my feet because I'm so busy and they can't tell me what part will fit without me sending them a picture....Sheesh.....

I have it, its not that great. It really takes forever to juice with it, and once you are done you get like 2 ozs of juice and that's it.

I purchased this one for when I travel or live abroad. I really like it, but you have to attach a plastic bag or something to collect the pulp, otherwise the curling pulp can easily fall into the juice. I have juiced leafy greens, fruits and carrots with this, and they do well in there. Sometimes the juice from things that are too juicy builds up, so you have to alternate between hard and soft to push it all out.

Hi Zip....What does this one weigh? I could see using a lightweight plastic one like this for travelling --Often dream of doing bicycle tours/campouts with one --like I used to do in the "old days" before children...LOL

I also have this juicer, and I LIKE it, but it isn't perfect. Like mentioned the pulp can fall into the juice if you're not careful, but it can easily be avoided. The other issue is the amount of energy you may need to put into juicing with it. Depending on how hard the vegetables you are using are, it may be difficult to churn. But all in all I think its worth the buy, they're cheap and do what they need to do. I like mixing wheatgrass with oranges, in the morning. This is a great citrus juicer too, which comes in very handy. Its easy to clean, a quick rinse and brush the strainer and you're good to go. It may be hard work but once its done I always feel accomplished, and great when I get to enjoy my juice!!
