I'm so happy to have another microgreen for my rotation, + not just any microgreen but such a powerful one. I love it when you post pictures Mr Raw, because now I can actually "feel" the energy green sprouts have just by looking at them (this ability makes my home a very peaceful pace with sprouts all over the place). Fenugreek greens are a very powerful sprout, at the same level as sunflower greens.
Clover is right up there, in my opinion. I prefer it to alfalfa only because I can pick all the wild clover seeds I want for free. This will be even easier when I get more clover established on my property.Quote:

However, in your case clover might actually be better then alfalfa; wild seeds picked yourself have a special vibration, and the wild clover they came from probably grew in better soil then the alfalfa, so the seeds might have more minerals then farmed alfalfa.
I'm hoping to get some organic clover seeds from an organic farmer friend. Mostly I want to sow it for the hens but also instead of grass - always green and doesn't need cutting. I will sprout some for juicing too.
Sunflower greens will always wear the crown and be the big daddy of sprouts. lt has a darker juice, more nutrition, the most feel good factors, the most balanced protein of any land food on Earth...it is just the perfect sprout. Fenugreek is a very good sprout too, but it is not as complete and as balanced as the sunflower.Quote:

Yes, clover is a real beauty. l want to get a 5kg sack of them shortly.
You can actually start the clover among the grass and let it take over. Very healthy for the soil as grasses take nitrogen from the soil and clover puts it back.Quote:

Not just to keep the weeds out. Clover is a nitrogen fixer so rather handy.

I agree that sunflower greens are the best sprout other then grasses.
As with all royalty, the king or queen is only as strong as the breadth of minor royals that make up the court.
Red Clover Sprouts Look similar to alfalfa sprouts but they taste different.

The compost where l recycle all the soil from my wheatgrass, sunflower greens, pea shoots greens and buckwheat lettuce lt makes excellent soil and has lots of worms revitalise it all.

In the bottom left corner on the compost pic you can see the corner of the fenugreek sprouts that sit on dish racks for up to a week at a time getting green during the middle of our dark cold winter. l have kept alfalfa growing outside in the open for up to a month without rinsing it.
I think perhaps, it is good to be a worm in your yard!
