Am I the only one that celebrates pet birthdays? :(
The things that my dogs like most are whole animal foods (such as a whole rabbit) a big meaty bone, fruit or a big head of cruncy lettuce :D
I don't cook things for my dogs or make recipes, but you should stay away from stuff heavy on nuts or processed fats like oils(even raw)
You could arrange the treats in a pretty design/pattern on a plate or in a dog bowl to make it special :)
I am new to raw myself and my dogs aren't currently on a raw diet so I don't have any suggestions on treats.
I wanted to let you know that you aren't the only one who celebrates pet birthdays. This is my girl Jayda wearing her party hat to my Papillon Oliver's one year birthday :)

Miss Marie, thank you for the ideas. :)
Sinfully, I love the pictures and Jayda is so cute! :D
My puppy has been raw for over 7 years now. I feed him mostly raw meat but for his sometime treats I give him:
dates (with seed and all; sometimes he will eat the seed, sometimes he will leave it)
pies or cakes without chocolate (anytime I make one, I give him a small slice and he loves it)
avocado
coconut butter
cucumber
almond butter by itself or sometimes I will put some inside a date (its funny to watch him eat it)
For my puppy's birthday, I made a decorated cake and had a party with wrapped presents. It was funny watching him try to open the packages. :)
