What!!! I didnt know
i gotta get there!!!
Thank you!
I went today for lunch!
I was a teeny bit disappointed that all of their main entrees are vegan and not raw :( but they had a lot of raw goodies! I had a delicious creamsicle shake to start and then the taco salad. I didn't like the salad too much, only because the crumbles were made with pumpkin seeds and I'm burnt out on those :(
But the waitress brought us a dessert sampling of tiramisu, coconut cream pie and some ginger pie tart--so delicious!!
I ended up bringing home some teriyaki almonds, a big slice of tiramisu and a slice of the coconut pie. It's amazing how creamy the coconut pie is!! And it's nut free, not too heavy! The tiramisu is amazing! I haven't had anything with coffee in it in forever, so it was a very nice treat! They even sell their cold-processed coffee if that's yo thang. Overall, I'm excited that the cafe is so close to me, this is just what I needed. I was feeling like I was in a raw food rut, so this was a nice way to mix it up and get me re-inspired!
Are there any other raw restaurants in the south bay? Being fairly new to being raw (about 3 months) it'd be nice to have some more options since the Cafe Gratitude menu is pretty small.
Went here yesterday. Fell. In. LOVE. I had the caesar salad and mint chocolate chip shake, while my mum had the coffee shake. Of course we sampled each other's food, and we loved EVERYTHING. The service was great, too; We were given watermelon juice during our wait which was scrumptious! :D This was my mum's first /good/ raw restaurant experience, and after her first few sips of shake said, "How can I not go get this before work every morning now?" :D Good thing we don't live too close to the area, or else our pockets would deflate. ;D I am grateful!
Cafe Gratitude needs to expand their horizons down to Dallas Texas. :D
