Cinnamon Roll Smoothie
Another delicious way to drink more selenium-rich Brazil nut mik! This smoothie features fragrant cinnamon, sweet vanilla and other delightful ingredients. So much better than a cinnamon roll!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Brazil nut milk (blend 2/3 c. Brazil nuts and a little vanilla bean with 2 cups water and 2 T agave nectar. Strain.)
- 1 piece vanilla bean (about 1 inch)
- 2 T agave nectar
- 1 t cinnamon
- 3 small frozen bananas
- Dark syrup such as agave nectar or yacon syrup.
Directions:
- Blend all the ingredients together except for the dark syrup, which you will use to drizzle the inside of the smoothie glasses (optional but pretty!)
- Pour the liquid into the decorated glasses, and sprinkle a little more cinnamon on top.
Enjoy!

Wow that looks amazing, like one of those caramel iced coffee drinks I used to get sometimes.
-
I never had one of those, but I did try to imitate their appearance ;) Thank you :)

That looks like some fire. I like your raw style.

Yea! I like the way you think ;)

Lovely! I must try that recipe. Brazil nut milk is delicious. I had a similiar drink yesterday at a raw class. It was brazil nut milk, vanilla, agave, maca, and cacao.
-
btw: The brazil nut drink was served with cinnamon rolls made from the leftover brazil nut pulp. :)

Sounds wonderful :) Let us know if you try it :)

Me too :) I'm so glad I found really raw, fair trade and organic ones. In the past, I used to buy them from regular stores, and it turns out they're not raw!
